Clarksville Police respond to Double Shooting at Longhorn Steakhouse parking lot

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Tonight, Wednesday, June 5th, 2019, around 8:30pm, Clarksville Police were called to the parking lot of Longhorn Steakhouse, 2788 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard to a shots fired call.

When officers arrived in scene, there were two men in the parking lot who had been shot. There were 15-20 bystanders attempting to assist the gunshot victims. The victims were taken by medical personnel from the scene.

Clarksville Police arrest Lori Johnson for Child Abuse, Neglect

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Lori Johnson, age 62, has been charged by Clarksville Police with Child Abuse and Neglect.

Clarksville Police were called to a Clarksville residence, June 4th, 2019 after the foster parents of a six year old with a traumatic brain injury (TBI), noticed the child seemed to be crying more lately. The child sustained the TBI during a motor vehicle crash when she was two years old and is non-ambulatory and non-verbal.

Clarksville Police have charged Lori Johnson with Child Abuse and Neglect.

Fort Campbell to sign agreement for Animal Control Services with Clarksville-Montgomery County

 

Fort Campbell KY - 101st Airborne DivisionFort Campbell, KY – The United States and Clarksville, Montgomery County, Tennessee will sign an Intergovernmental Support Agreement (IGSA) on Thursday, May 5th, 2019 at 10:30am at the 101st Airborne Division Headquarters rotunda, 2700 Indiana Avenue, Fort Campbell, KY.

Under the IGSA, Montgomery County will take over operation of Fort Campbell’s Stray Animal Program. Implementing this IGSA will result in a cost reduction of approximately $300K per year.

Fort Campbell will dispatch Montgomery County Animal Care and Control Officers to humanely impound all domestic and feral animals observed as stray animals.

Gentry comes aboard as CFO to replace Brandi Bryant, who transitioned to Assistant AD for Resource Management and Community Outreach earlier this year. At the same time, Harrison is pleased to announce that Katie Locke has been promoted to Assistant AD for Ticket Operations and the Monocle Society to reflect her work on the athletic department’s most ambitious new project.

City of Clarksville, Montgomery County took on Fort Campbell in Annual Tobacco Stick Softball Game

 

Montgomery County Government TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – Clarksville Mayor Joe Pitts recently joined forces with Montgomery County Mayor Jim Durrett in an effort to put together a softball team made up of city and county employees who could compete with the always hard-to-beat Fort Campbell team.

The occasion was the 10th Annual Tobacco Stick Softball Game, a friendly afternoon of softball at Heritage Park that promotes more camaraderie than competition among our local government employees, and the Soldiers that serve our nation.
