Clarksville’s Heritage Park will host free Movie Screening, Vendors, and Fun.
Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department’s free outdoor movie series Movies in the Park to be held this Saturday, June 8th, 2019 with the showing of “Beauty and the Beast” at Heritage Park located at 1241 Peachers Mill Road.
Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation, will begin at 6:30pm and include a demonstration using liquid nitrogen by Austin Peay State University’s College of STEM.
Activities also include the Grumpy Beast Freeze Dance, performances by CAST & Crowns Performing Arts, and the screening of local film festival winning film, Black Beauty. Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library will host a Balancing Books Relay Race and attendees can sign up for a free library card.
The movie will begin promptly at 8:00pm.
Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, food, and drinks; pets and alcohol are not permitted. Berry Bear Frozen Yogurt, Kadi’s Tacos Food Truck, and Harmony Farms Kettle Corn will be available for food and drink purchases.
In the event of rain, outdoor movie screenings may have to be canceled or rescheduled.
