Clarksville’s Movies in the Park to show “Black Panther” this Saturday, July 13th

Clarksville's Movies in the ParkClarksville, TN – On Saturday, July 13th, 2019, the City of Clarksville’s free outdoor movie series Movies in the Park will continue its 14th season with the showing of “Black Panther” at the Heritage Park soccer fields.

Pre-show activities, coordinated by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department, will begin at 6:30pm and include a ping pong cannon firing demonstration by Austin Peay State University’s Bryan Gaither, lab manager for the APSU Department of Physics, Engineering and Astronomy. Watch as plastic balls are fired more than 700 mph through cans, plywood and maybe even some fruit.

Activities also include a jungle inflatable provided by U Jumpin’ Foulks, and craft projects and face painting courtesy of Little Learner’s University.

The movie will begin promptly at 8:15pm.

Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, food, and drinks. Pets and alcohol are not permitted. Kadi’s Tacos Food Truck and Berry Bear Frozen Yogurt and Ice Cream will be available for food and drink purchases.

In the event of rain, outdoor movie screenings may have to be canceled or rescheduled.
