The average days on market for the 2nd Quarter of 2019 is 33 days, which is 12 days faster than the 1st Quarter of 2019 (45).

“These statistics show the strength of the real estate market in Clarksville. Low days on the market, rising values, and shrinking inventory are a great formula for property owners thinking about selling in the area. For buyers, I recommend getting a mortgage pre-qualification, connecting with a Realtor, and making an offer quickly on their potential next home,” said Eric Boyd, 2019 CAR President.

Realtor.Com recently listed Clarksville as the 3rd hottest city for Millennials to purchase a home. Nashville has seen a large number of millennials flocking to the city looking to buy. However, with an average home price of $350,000, millennials are choosing to purchase 45 minutes away in Clarksville where they can buy a larger home for a lower price.

The charts below show housing statistics for Montgomery County and Stewart County combined. The local market statistics reflect 12 month trends. Information was gathered by the Middle Tennessee Multiple Listings Service (RealTracs) and does not reflect properties that are for sale by owner.
