The rain quickly caused the Cumberland River, the Harpeth River and various creeks to rise and come out of their banks, flooding many parts of Nashville and some of the surrounding cities.

The Tennessee Flood has caused millions of dollars worth of damage and affected many lives and displaced families across Middle and West Tennessee.
<!--//

104-5 The Zone is teaming up with Hands on Nashville, founded in 1991 to help people transform the world around them by volunteering, to get out in the communities that were hit the hardest. Over the next few weeks, 104-5 The Zone will travel to Bellevue, Clarksville, Antioch, Ashland City and other cities to encourage volunteers to join in and help with the clean-up and rebuilding process.

Join us at Sudden Service at 2654 Wilma Rudolph Blvd in Clarksville on Wednesday, May 19th while The Zone’s local shows broadcast live. Sign up to volunteer starting at 8:00 am and someone from Hands on Nashville will place you in an area of Clarksville that need the most help!

Guitar Center will be on-site from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at each of our Building Hope Tour stops for Operation High Ground. Operation High Ground is a relief plan for victims of the Nashville Flood. It is to get their instruments and studios back to normal as quickly as possible.

Guitar Center representatives will be assessing gear damaged by the recent flood and giving advice on how to best repair or replace the damaged gear. They will be giving out coupons and gift cards to help those victims replace their gear. In addition, you can stop by Guitar Center’s Nashville location at 721 Thompson Lane for an in-store consultation where they can help you on a one-on-one basis.

Guitar Center realizes that the Music Stars aren’t the only ones who have lost the tools of their trade. After all…this is Music City.

How to get there from Nashville

Take I-24W. Exit 4 off I-24. Take a left off of the exit, about 4 lights down on the right at the corner of Wilma Rudolph Blvd and Needmore Road (across from the Trane Air Conditioner Factory).
