Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators, represented by President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile, took part in the 2013 Scotiabank NHL Draft Lottery on Monday night, retaining the fourth overall selection in the 2013 NHL Draft.

Nashville Predators stick it to St. Louis Blues 6-1

St. Louis, MO – The Nashville Predators came out hard and fast putting up 3 goals in the first period against the St. Louis Blues. Nashville goaltender Pekka Rinne makes key saves down the line to keep the Blues in check which helped the Predators to a 6-1 win at the Scottrade Center.

Nashville, TN – St. Louis goaltender Brian Elliott stopped the Nashville Predators twice in the shootout to give the Blues a 4-3 win Monday night in front of a sell out crowd at Bridgestone Arena.

New York, NY – David Poile of the Nashville Predators, Doug Armstrong of the St. Louis Blues and Dale Tallon of the Florida Panthers are the three finalists for the 2011-12 NHL General Manager of the Year Award, the National Hockey League announced today.
Voting for this award was conducted among the 30 Club General Managers and a panel of NHL executives, print and broadcast media. The winner will be announced Wednesday, June 20th, during the 2012 NHL Awards from Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas. Detroit, MI – Friday night, the Nashville Predators and Detroit Red Wings close out their season series at Joe Louis Arena. Detroit leads the season series 3-2, but Nashville has taken three of its last six trips to Detroit dating back to April 3rd, 2010.
In Detroit’s final trip to the Music City on March 10th, the Kostitsyn brothers stole the show as the Predators edged the Wings, 3-2. Andrei Kostitsyn notched two power-play goals on the night, including the game-winner at 4:34 of the final frame. Both of his goals were set up by Sergei Kostitsyn and David Legwand – who posted three helpers on the night.
