Morehead, KY – Austin Peay State University‘s volleyball team saw its season come to an end with a four-set loss (15-25, 25-18, 25-27, 25-17) to Tennessee State in the first round of the 2012 Ohio Valley Conference Volleyball Championship, Thursday, at Wetherby Gym.

Morehead, KY – Austin Peay State University’s volleyball team begins play in the 2012 Ohio Valley Conference Volleyball Championship with a 3:30pm, Thursday contest against Tennessee State at Wetherby Gym.
Austin Peay Women’s Volleyball takes on Tennessee State Thursday in the Ohio Valley Conference Vollyball Championship.

APSU Sports: Austin Peay Women’s Volleyball
Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay’s volleyball team hosted more than 20 area youth at Saturday’s free postgame volleyball clinic.
The Lady Govs wrapped up their season with an Ohio Valley Conference defeat to league-leader Morehead State. Austin Peay expects a four-seed in the upcoming OVC Tournament which will be hosted in Morehead, KY.

Fourth-Seeded Austin Peay Lady Govs Volleyball faces Tennessee State in OVC Tournament Opener
Brentwood, TN – The fourth-seeded Austin Peay State University volleyball team will begin the Ohio Valley Conference Volleyball Championship against fifth-seed Tennessee State in a 4:30pm, Thursday contest at Wetherby Gym in Morehead, KY.
The Lady Govs finished the regular season with a 17-15 overall record and 10-6 OVC mark. They will face a Tennessee State squad they defeated in four sets, October 27th, in Nashville, TN.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University‘s volleyball team will enter the postseason following the sting of a loss after dropping a three-set Ohio Valley Conference decision (25-13, 25-22, 25-19) to regular-season champion Morehead State.

Clarksville, TN – Sophomore setter Cami Fields, of Austin Peay State University volleyball team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.
Fields recorded a career-high 64 assists in the Lady Govs five-set win against Southeast Missouri, Saturday, along with a career-best four blocks and 14 digs. She’s the first Lady Gov to record more than 60 assists in a match since Sarah Alisaleh’s 62-assist performance at Tennessee Tech, November 3rd, 2007.
