Dickson, TN - Austin Peay State University men’s golf team recorded eight birdies and one eagle on the back nine, Friday afternoon, and, as a result, will take a nine-stroke lead into the final round of the Ohio Valley Conference Men’s Golf Championship, being played at GreyStone Golf Club.

Three Players leave APSU Men’s Basketball program

For Murray State it has given a banged up group of Racers a chance to rest and recover from a season-long list of nagging injuries.

Chattanooga, TN – Austin Peay will attempt to snap a five-game losing streak when it plays High Point in the consolation game of the Dr. Pepper Classic, 3:30pm (CDT), Saturday in McKenzie Arena.
High Point also is amidst a losing streak. Its 68-61 loss to Chattanooga, Friday, was its fourth straight.

Clarksville, TN – This is the 23rd Annual Dr. Pepper Classic, hosted by Chattanooga. This is the Austin Peay Governors Basketball’s second tourney appearance. The Governors reached the finals of 2000 Classic.
APSU has never played two-Utah Valley and High Point-of the entrants in this year’s tourney. APSU and Chattanooga have played 18 times previously.

Anthony Campbell named Austin Peay Athlete of the Week

Clarksville, TN – Senior forward Anthony Campbell, of the Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team, has been named the Copies in a Flash APSU Athlete of the Week.
Campbell averaged 19.7 points over the Govs last three games, including a career-high 25-point performance against Lipscomb, December 18th. He followed that with a 20-point night in a losing effort against Illinois State, hitting a season-high five three-pointers against the Redbirds. He was the only Gov in double figures at Illinois State.
