CPD seeks public assistance on armed robbery case

Ukau W. Snedeker

The Clarksville Police Department is requesting help from the public in locating Ukau W. Snedeker (DOB: 3/10/1990).  He has warrants on file for Criminal Conspiracy and Criminal Responsibility for an Aggravated Robbery committed at 2804 Wilma Rudolph Blvd. (Advance America).

On February 22, 2008, at approximately 6:15 p.m, two individuals entered Advance America on 2804 Wilma Rudolph Blvd armed with handguns and demanded all the money.  The suspects fled the business after taking an undisclosed amount of money.  Warrants have been issued for Ukau W. Snedeker’s involvement in the robbery.

Two held in drug-related home invasion

Frederick Quinton Hackney

Two men are in custody for a drug-related home invasion that occurred November 16 on Monarch Lane.

Arrested were Frederick Quinton Hackney (B/M, DOB: 3/13/1980), of Martha Lane, Clarksville, charged with Especially Aggravated Robbery with a Bond of $25,000 and Possession for Resale  with a bond of $10,000; and Vincent Edward Quarles (B/M, DOB: 2/23/1977, of  Monarch Lane, charged with Possession for Resale with a bond of  $5,000. «Read the rest of this article»

Violent crimes flare up across Clarksville

Police have responded to series of unrelated violent crimes over the past week, including two instances involving guns and a third requiring assistance from the Crisis Negotiations Unit and Tactical Unit.

On July 29, at approximately 1:30 am, officers responded to the Raleigh Drive area in response to a burglary. While in the area, officers observed a vehicle that was known to have been previously operated by the suspects. Officers tracked the suspects to another apartment within the complex.

The Crisis Negotiations Unit and Tactical Unit did respond to the scene. After unsuccessful negotiations, the Tactical Unit deployed Clear Out Gas into the apartment. At approximately 8:00 a.m. Michael Benton and Christopher Williams were taken into custody without incident. The items taken from the original burglary call were located inside the apartment where the suspects were hiding. The Clarksville Police Department was assisted by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Dept., Clarksville Fire Rescue and Montgomery County EMS. «Read the rest of this article»
