TWRA to auction off Fifth Permit for 2012 Elk Hunt on Ebay July 19th-29th

Nashville, TN – The fifth permit for participation in Tennessee’s fourth managed elk hunt will be awarded to the successful bidder in an eBay auction to be held from July 19th-29th. Proceeds from the auction benefit the state’s elk restoration program.
Since the elk hunt was implemented in 2009, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) has donated a permit to a Non-Governmental Organization to join four others who were selected from a computer drawing. Charles Hand Farm’s “Bud Barn” was filled with Friends and Family for the 3rd Annual Mickey Fisher Memorial Golf Tournament dinner
Clarksville, TN – On the eve of one of the area’s biggest golf tournaments, hundreds of friends, family and spectators packed the Bud Barn at the Charles Hand Farm Friday night to remember the late Mickey Fisher at the Mickey Fisher Memorial Golf Tournament dinner.
After food, drinks and camaraderie were shared, various items were auctioned off for charity and scholarship money as part of the third annual event.

Cunningham, TN – There will be a Fundraiser Auction at the Montgomery Central High School gym for Brady Conatser Saturday, January 21st starting at 6:00pm. There will be hamburgers, hot dogs, etc for sale as well as t-shirts. The t-shirts are $20.00 each.
Brady Conatser fell on December 27th injuring his spine. He has recently been moved to the Shepard Center in Atlanta, GA, a world renowned rehabilitation center that specializes in spinal cord injuries. Family to hold Fundraiser Auction for Teen Paralyzed in Fall

Cunningham, TN – On December 27th Brady Conatser suffered a fall after fainting resulting in a spinal injury to his c4 vertebrae. He was life-flighted to Vanderbilt Trauma Unit where he underwent a series of 4 surgeries to stabilize his condition. Since the accident Brady has since been able to breath without the assistance of the ventilator, and has had some movement in his arms.
The family is working to raise funds to get him into the Shepard Center in Atlanta, GA; a world renowned rehabilitation center that specializes in spinal cord injuries. “We are keeping our fingers crossed that they accept Brady as a patient because this facility is Brady’s absolute best chance at recovery,” said Vicki Self, Brady’s mother. Washington, D.C. – The U.S. Marshals Service is holding a national jewelry auction, with nearly 700 lots of jewelry, diamonds, watches, collectible coins and even a saxophone signed by former President Bill Clinton, live in Houston and simulcast on the Web Friday and Saturday.
A preview will be held at the Reliant Center in Houston Thursday from noon to 5:00pm CST.
 A saxophone signed by Bill Clinton (lot 19), a Rolex watch (lot 114), a ring with a center diamond of nearly five carats (lot 224), and a gold coin (lot 600) are some of the items up for auction.
