Fort Campbell’s D.W. Recreation Center November Activities

Fort Campbell, KY - Dale Wayrynen Recreation Center will start November off with Elves at Work on November 4th at 2:00pm. This fun filled event will help get the recreation center ready for the holiday season by assisting us in decorating the building.
On November 12th, D.W. Recreation Center will be open celebrating Veterans’ Day and will be available for all of your recreational needs.

USAA, MWR and BOSS Rockin’ Halloween Party at Fort Campbell’s The Zone
Fort Campbell, KY – Put this on your calendar and tell all of your friends to save the date too! USAA, MWR and BOSS have partnered to offer this night of great entertainment, music and prizes.
The bash starts at 9:00pm on October 26th at The Zone, located at 3910 Indiana Avenue, and lasts until 1:00am. Everyone age 18 and up is invited to attend and there’s NO cover charge. Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) Wants You to be a Tough Mudder
Fort Campbell, KY – You saw it in the September MWR Life for Single Soldiers magazine and now you have a chance to participate! BOSS is looking for 15 Soldiers who want to be Tough Mudders.

Fort Campbell, KY – D.W. Recreation has activities planned for all ages during September.
There will be a Post Wide Dominoes Tournament for all eligible MWR patrons on September 9th at 2:00pm. Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers. Sign up the day of the event.

Fort Campbell, KY – D.W. Recreation Center knows that August can be the hottest month of the year and they have some great activities planned to help keep you cool.
On August 3rd, DW Recreation Center will present “Run For Your Wife”. This will be a dinner theatre production of this play. Dinner will start at 6:00pm with the show starting at 7:00pm. The cost is $15.00 for single tickets and $25.00 for couples. Fort Campbell’s Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers St. Louis Retreat
Fort Campbell, KY – Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) is pleased to offer this Single Soldier Retreat to St. Louis on July 20th-22nd.
You will depart D.W. Recreation Center on July 20th at 11:00am and travel to St. Louis. While you are there you will visit Six Flags and attend a Major League Baseball Game to watch the St. Louis Cardinals play the Chicago Cubs.
You will return to D.W. Recreation Center on July 22nd. The cost for this trip is $50.00 which covers entrance to Six Flags and the baseball game. Soldiers will need a three day pass. «Read the rest of this article»

Fort Campbell, KY – A Call of Duty MW3 Tournament will be held on July 24th at 2:00pm. This tournament is open to all eligible MWR participants ages 18 and over. Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers.

Fort Campbell, KY – D.W. Recreation Center has July under control with these great activities! Celebrate July 4th with DW Rec! The Recreation Center will be open from 9:00am until 6:00pm for you to enjoy the computer lab; play pool, table tennis, video games or a musical instrument; or watch a movie before you go out to the Division Parade Field for the Carnival and fireworks.

On June 3rd, DW Recreation Center will be holding Talent Tryouts at 3:00pm. They’re looking for all types of talented Soldiers and adult Family members to be in a variety show in August. If you or someone you know is talented (sing, dance, play a musical instrument, etc…) encourage them to come for the Talent Tryouts.

Fort Campbell, KY – As units assigned to the 101st Airborne Division prepare for their next “Rendezvous with Destiny,” the struggle to put normal life on hold is felt by all.
Divorced soldiers, singles and single parents make up a significant portion of the ranks. Their normal life gets suspended just like their married comrades.
The Fort Campbell Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers program is in place to assist in meeting the quality of life, recreation and community involvement needs of unaccompanied soldiers.
