Jonesboro, AR – For the second straight game Austin Peay State University shot 50 percent from the floor. For the second straight game, the Governors shot better than 58 percent from three-point range. And for the second straight game APSU was handed a double-digit loss.
Why? For the second straight game APSU committed an unsightly 28 turnovers.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s baseball team used a combination of offensive power and pitching prowess to win both ends of an Ohio Valley Conference doubleheader – 17-5 in Game 1 before winning the nightcap, 7-1 – against Morehead State, Saturday at Raymond C. Hand Park.

APSU Baseball’s Andy Cox’s start, strong bullpen effort fuel Govs to 3-1 win over Lipscomb Bisons
Clarksville, TN – After his squad suffered a 9-8 loss to SIU-Edwardsville in their series finale Sunday, Austin Peay baseball coach Gary McClure said he wanted the Govs wanted to treat Tuesday’s non-conference matchup against Lipscomb as preparation for this weekend’s final Ohio Valley Conference home series.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team returns to action with a pair of weekend matches against Belmont and Lipscomb, Friday and Saturday.
The weekend kicks off at 2:00pm, Friday, against future Ohio Valley Conference member Belmont before hosting Lipscomb, 11:30am, Saturday following the Govs and Lady Govs free tennis clinic at the Austin Peay Tennis Courts.
