Nashville, TN - The Tennessee Titans on Thursday, December 13th signed tight end Brandon Barden to the 53-man roster from the team’s practice squad. Additionally, the Titans added safety Suaesi Tuimaunei to the practice squad.

Tennessee Titans Sign Five Players to Practice Squad

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans have signed five players to their practice squad.
TE Brandon Barden, DT Zach Clayton, FB Collin Mooney, WR Michael Preston and S Tracy Wilson will remain in the Titans’ locker room. All of the players were with the Titans during this year’s training camp.
NFL teams are allowed to sign up to eight players to their practice squads.

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans waived the following players to reach the NFL’s roster limit: WR Devin Aguilar, TE Brandon Barden, DT Zach Clayton, G Kyle DeVan, DT Lamar Divens, S Aaron Francisco, TE Cameron Graham, CB Chris Hawkins, G Michael Jasper, WR James Kirkendoll, FB Collin Mooney, C Chris Morris, WR Michael Preston, DE Malcolm Sheppard, S Tracy Wilson, WR DJ Woods.
Additionally, Tennessee placed the following players on injured reserve: DE Dave Ball, DE Leger Douzable, G Ryan Durand, LB Kevin Malast, CB Terrence Wheatley.
Tennessee Titans drop preseason opener to Seattle Seahawks 27-17

Seattle, WA – The Tennessee Titans traveled to the Seattle Seahawks for their first preseason game Saturday night. The Titans started out on the wrong foot as starting quarterback Matt Hasselbeck threw two interceptions in his limited time on the field. Hasselbeck was 4-5 passes for 45 yards.
“On the first play, I had a choice to take a shot down the field to Jared Cook or take a quick completion to Nate Washington on the left. I decided to throw to Nate, and it was kind of a freak thing,” stated Titans quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. “It reminded me of my first pass the last time I was in this stadium, which was intercepted against the Saints. I remember Pete (Carroll) coming up to me after that pass and saying not to worry about it because we had the rest of the game to play.
