The Predators were first to score on a Shea Weber slap shot at 8:29 of the second period, but the third period belonged to Columbus, as they reeled off three goals, including an empty netter, to seal the deal.

The Predators are coming off two hard fought losses to the Chicago Blackhawks over the weekend.
Nashville, TN – Thecontinued their home winning streak with a 3-2 victory tonight over the Edmonton Oilers at Bridgestone Arena. Martin Erat and Sergei Kostitsyn were key in tonight’s win.
Edmonton drew first blood at 7:53 of the first period as Corey Potter netted a power play goal to give the Oilers a quick 1-0 lead.

Mike Fisher scored two goals and Martin Erat, Nick Spaling and Brandon Yip had the other goals for the Predators. Pekka Rinne had 19 saves on the night.
