Austin Peay State University Lady Govs - APSUCape Girardeau, MO – Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team kicked off an important weekend of Ohio Valley Conference play with a 1-0 win against Southeast Missouri, Friday, at Houck Stadium.

The Lady Govs were able to leave SEMO thanks to a golden goal by sophomore Mary Ruth Locastro in the 95th minute.

The Lady Govs 5-2 loss at UT Martin ensures that they will not be part of the field at Heflin Tennis Center.

APSU Lady Govs Basketball game Monday has start time changed due to weather

 

Austin Peay State University Lady Govs - APSUCape Girardeau, MO – Due to inclement weather in the area, the Austin Peay-Southeast Missouri women’s basketball game scheduled for 11:00am, Monday has been postponed to 6:30pm. Monday evening.

With Monday’s previously scheduled contest to be featured as “Classroom on the Court” all tickets will still be honored for Monday night.

Austin Peay State University inducts Shawn Kelley, Nick Stapleton, Brad Kirtley, Reedy Sears into APSU Athletics Hall of Fame

 

APSU - Austin Peay State University SportsClarksville, TN – Two of the greatest Governors athletes in their respective sports and the department’s longtime sports information director were inducted into Austin Peay State University’s Athletics Hall of Fame, Saturday.

In addition, a former superb football/basketball player who paid the ultimate price in defense of his country, was selected to the Hall of Fame as part of it Legends category.
