(G.O.A.L!), a FREE beginner hockey program designed for boys and girls ages 5 to 8 with no prior experience.

Nashville Predators free youth hockey program “Get Out And Learn” starts January 11th

 

Nashville Predators - Get Out And LearnNashville, TN – The Nashville Predators have introduced Get Out And Learn! (G.O.A.L!), a FREE on-ice youth hockey program, in association with Centennial Sportsplex and A-Game Sportsplex as part of the Predators commitment to the development of youth hockey.

The next dates are Fridays, January 11th, 18th, 25th, February 1st from 5:25pm-6:15pm at A-Game in Franklin located at 215 Gothic Court, Franklin, TN.

G.O.A.L! has been created to offer youngsters the opportunity to experience the excitement of hockey without the cost of purchasing equipment.

Nashville Predators release 2012 Pre-Season Schedule

 

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TNNashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the Predators will open their seven-game 2012 preseason schedule with a doubleheader at the BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, FL, for the second consecutive season on Monday, September 24th.

Nashville’s preseason schedule includes a pair of home games: Tuesday, September 25th against the Central Division rival St. Louis Blues and Saturday, September 29th against the Carolina Hurricanes. Both games at Bridgestone Arena will start at 7:00pm CT. «Read the rest of this article»

Many of the Club’s Top Prospects, 2012 Draftees to Attend

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – The Nashville Predators will have many of their top prospects on hand, including several 2012 draftees, when they officially open their 2012 Development Camp on Tuesday, June 26th with fitness testing beginning at 7:00am at Centennial Sportsplex.

Players will be available to the media after each on ice segment (see note below for breakdown) or by special request. Austin Peay State University Lady GovsNashville, TNAustin Peay State University women’s tennis team was eliminated from the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament with a 4-3 loss to Eastern Kentucky, Saturday, at Centennial Sportsplex.

In both singles and doubles, the match came down to the final point. The Lady Govs won two of three doubles matches, but the Colonels won four singles matches to advance.

Nashville Predators Practice Report for April 19th

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – The Nashville Predators returned to the rink Thursday after a day off, splitting a practice session between the two rinks at Centennial Sportsplex. In a positive sign, defenseman Hal Gill—who has yet to play a game in the playoffs due to a lower body injury—participated for the entire session.

Neither Predators head coach Barry Trotz nor Gill were ready to commit to a Game 5 return for the 6-foot-7 blueliner, however.

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – The Nashville Predators practiced at Centennial Sportsplex on Tuesday just as they did on Monday, splitting the hour-long session over both ice rinks at the facility.

The mood, however, was different as the players were antsy for game action “We need to get started here,” defenseman Ryan Suter said. “A lot of time spent on meeting and video. You just want to play as a player.”
