Charlie Tate to speak at Dunbar Cave

Mr. Charlie Tate, Tennessee State Parks Director of Natural and Cultural Resource Management, will be the Friends of Dunbar Cave July 19th, guest speaker.

Amongst his many accomplishments, Mr. Tate arranged for the new “bat friendly” gate to be put in at Dunbar Cave.  On this visit he has a slide show detailing his plans and importance of  the many natural areas throughout Tennessee.  

This presentation will begin at 7:00pm in the Audio-Visual room at the Dunbar Cave Visitor’s Center.  He will be speaking on the value of flora and fawna in the parks along with the history and biological aspects of both.   Mr. Tate will answers questions upon completing his presentation.

The event is free and open to the public!
