Arson suspected in North Clarksville vehicle fires

 

Clarksville TN – Arson is suspected in a series of vehicle fires early this morning in North Clarksville.  According to a press release from Clarksville Police Department spokesman Officer Jim Knoll, the fires occurred within a fifteen minute time frame.

Emergency responders, including Clarksville Fire Rescue, got the call at 3:00am, and had their hands full when they arrived.  Two of the fires occurred in the driveways at 1538 Cherry Tree Drive, and 1593 Boxcroft Court.  The third vehicle torched was in front of 312 Gomer Road. «Read the rest of this article»

Clarksville Police are looking for Mark Austin Ellis who Shot at a Father and Son after Disagreement over a Drug Transaction

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On April 15th, 2012, around 9:30pm, a 49 year old man and his 24 year old son went to a business on Kraft Street to purchase drugs from Mark Austin Ellis, who they only knew as “Rachi”.

After a verbal disagreement, there was no exchange of drugs or money, and the father and son started to drive away, at which point, the son saw Ellis with a gun.

Clarksville Police and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office collaborative to catch Aggravated Robbery Suspect

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – A collaborative effort between Clarksville Police Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office put a man with an Aggravated Robbery warrant behind bars.

MCSO received a tip that Mark Austin Ellis was at a residence on Lincoln Drive. CPD was contacted and assisted in taking Ellis in custody without incident a little after 10:00am.

Water Outage on Blackberry Lane and Section of Cherry Tree Drive

Clarksville Gas and Water DepartmentClarksville, TN – A Clarksville Gas and Water construction crew has turned off water service on Blackberry Lane and on Cherry Tree Drive from Cunningham Lane to Pinetree Road to repair a water main line leak. Work is expected to be complete by 1:00am. when water service will be restored.

The roads are open to traffic.

Police are Investigating an Aggravated Kidnapping and Attempted Aggravated Rape

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On August 28th, around 4:30am a male called Police to a Concord Drive address and told officers that his girlfriend had been kidnapped. He had received texts from his girlfriend telling him that she had been forced into a black SUV and was being held against her will.

The male continued to received texts for a couple of hours detailing her whereabouts and the events taking place. The 35 year old female finally called and said she was able to escape. Clarksville Gas and WaterClarksville, TN – Cherry Tree Drive is closed to through traffic from Pinetree to Orchard until 1:00pm while Gas and Water construction workers replace a sewer service line on Cherry Tree.

Traffic will be detoured to Pinetree and Orchard during the sewer line work.

Gas and Water construction workers are replacing a sewer service line on Cherry Tree and will detour traffic to Boxcroft and Pinetree roads during the sewer line work.
