Dunbar Cave State Park’s “Cooling at the Cave” this Saturday, July 28th

Clarksville, TN – Come out to Dunbar Cave State Park and join the park staff and the Friends of Dunbar Cave for their annual Cooling at the Cave and Anniversary Celebration with music, games and refreshments at the cool cave entrance.
All ages are welcome and admission is free (donations encouraged, T-shirts and postcards available to purchase).

Habitat for Humanity ReStore Hosts First Annual ‘ReCreate’

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday October 8th, 2011, the Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery, TN ReStore will host its first annual ‘ReCreate’, a fall festival focusing on repurposed materials, particularly those found in the ReStore.
Local artists such as Shipley Potter, Dave Jenks, Gemini Dream Design, Doug Wilson, Heart Beaded Jewelry and more will have art for display and sale constructed of renewed and reused items.

Strike, Rattle, and Bowl Back to the 50′s at Hooper Bowling Center

Fort Campbell, KY – Now-a-days fifty cents can’t buy you much of anything. That is not the case at Hooper Bowling Center on Saturday, July 30th as Hooper will be offering a fifty cent special to celebrate our Soldiers coming home.
The center will open at 9:00am and all games, shoe rentals, hot dogs, and chips will be .50 each until 7:00pm.

Ending Summer with Fun at Dale Wayrynen Recreation Center

Fort Campbell, KY – Just because summer is coming to an end, does not mean the fun has to. Join Dale Wayrynen Recreation Center (DW Rec.) as they host an End of Summer Cookout. Enjoy all your picnic favorites such as hotdogs, hamburgers, baked beans, potato salad, chips, dessert, and a drink for $3.00 per person. This is a great way to kick off the Labor Day weekend. Cookout begins at 4:00pm on September 5th.
Looking for a place to kick back and relax this Labor Day weekend? DW Rec. Center will be open to serve Soldiers and their Families on Labor Day from 11:00am until 8:00pm.
Exercise those thumbs and get ready for the Madden 11 Xbox 360 Tournament on Sunday, September 12th at 2:00pm. This video game tournament is open to all eligible MWR patrons.
