Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators are in desperate need of a win and hope it comes at the hands of the Edmonton Oilers. The two teams meet at 7:00pm CT at Rexall Place Sunday night.
Last time out, Nashville was pounded by the Calgary Flames, 6-3 on Friday night.
Calgary, Ontario – Thelost to the Calgary Flames tonight 6-3, after pulling Pekka Rinne from goal at about the 8 minute mark of the first period.
By that time, Calgary led Nashville 2-0. Chris Mason took over in goal for the rest of the game, but it didn’t make much difference as Calgary kept coming.
Vancouver – Thealready down 5-2 to the Vancouver Canucks at the end of two periods came out in the third playing hard. Goals by Mike Fisher and Gabriel Bourque brought the Predators within one of the Canucks at the 15:41 mark with all the momentum going their way.
However, Predators forward Sergei Kostitsyn received a questionable call for hooking Henrik Sedin on a break away down the right side giving the Canucks a penalty shot.
