Clarksville, TN – The next meeting of the Clarksville (TN) Civil War Roundtable will be on Wednesday, May 15th, 2013 at the Bone & Joint Center, 980 Professional Park Drive, right across the street from Gateway Hospital. This is just off Dunlop Lane and Holiday Drive and only a few minutes east of Governor’s Square mall.
The meeting begins at 7:00pm and is always open to the public. Members please bring a friend or two – new recruits are always welcomed.

The 100th meeting with Ed Bearss
Clarksville, TN – The next meeting of the Clarksville (TN) Civil War Roundtable will be at 7:00pm on Wednesday, July 18th at the Customs House Museum, 200 South 2nd Street in downtown Clarksville.
The Customs House Museum is our partner for this event and we thank them for their help. This is a special fund raising event for the Clarksville CWRT with the proceeds going to help build the Tennessee monument at the Battle of Richmond, Kentucky.

Clarksville’s Civil War Roundtable presents Ed Bearss at the Customs House Museum July 18th

Clarksville, TN – On Wednesday, July 18th, Clarksville’s Civil War Roundtable group will host a fundraiser at the Customs House Museum. The event will feature retired Chief Historian of the National Park Service, Ed Bearss, who will be presenting a lecture in the Museum’s Turner Auditorium at 7:00pm.
Ed is a combat wounded U.S. Marine who joined the National Park Service in the 1950s. Starting out at Vicksburg National Military Park as its historian, he rose to be the Chief Historian of the National Park Service and is retired from there as Chief Historian Emeritus. Ed is the most popular speaker on the Civil War lecture circuit today and is world renowned as a battlefield guide. «Read the rest of this article»
