Clarksville Police Department releases Alcoholic Beverage Commission Operation results from May 15th, 2014

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, May 15th, 2014 Agents of the Clarksville Police Departments Special Operations Unit conducted ABC operations targeting sales of alcohol to minors. Compliance checks were completed on 11 stores with 3 of those stores being cited for selling of alcohol to minors.

These operations are ongoing. Agent Tanner Pew is the lead investigator.

Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducts Prostitution Sting

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Agents from the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit (SOU) conducted an operation targeting prostitution in the Exit 4 area of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard using the social media site, backpage.com.

Three arrests were made in conjunction with the operation: Sasha Gail Young, Ashley Jimenez and Matiya Johnson.

This is an ongoing operation. There is no further information.

Anonymous Tip leads Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit to Arresting Two for Prostitution

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – On Thursday, January 2nd, 2014, the Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit (SOU) received an anonymous tip of possible prostitution at the 7 Therapy Spa, located at 2150 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard, Suites 6 and 7.

The SOU conducted an operation that same day, which resulted in the arrest of two females.

Clarksville Police Captain Craig Gipson graduates FBI National Academy

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department Captain Craig Gipson graduated from the 251st Session of prestigious FBI National Academy on December 14th, 2012.

The 251st Session  consisted of 260 men and women from law enforcement agencies from, 49 states, the District of Columbia, 29 International countries, four military organizations, and six federal civilian organizations.

Clarksville Police seize $30,000 during Traffic Stop for DUI

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On November 22nd, 2012, around 3:00am, Clarksville Police Officer Sven Szczerbiak spotted a Saturn Ion at the intersection of Madison Street and Richview Road which was stopped at a green light and not moving.

When he checked on the driver of the vehicle, Logan Blakeley, was found passed out and the engine was running. Once Blakeley was awake, the officer could smell alcohol, found Blakeley slow to react to instructions, and was unsteady on his feet.

A Chattanooga man was found with $30,000 in his possession during a driving under the influence traffic stop.

Clarksville Police receive a tip that leads to finding Marijunana Plants growing in back yard

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On August 15th, 2012 around 7:00pm, Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit and Tactical Team served a search warrant at 3020 Nicole Road.

They found four marijuana plants growing outside and crack and drug paraphernalia inside of the house. The street value of the plants is over $3,000.

Clarksville Police arrest two for Online Prostitution

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – In response to tips and complaints, Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit conducted an undercover prostitution sting. Agents went through a website’s ads (backpage.com) to contact woman and arrange sex in exchange for money.

The women met undercover officers at a hotel and agreed to provide sex for money. One woman agreed to take $142.00 and the other woman contracted for $250.00.
