Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators will host the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night at the Bridgestone Arena, at 7:00pm CT. In their last meeting on February 28th, 2012, the Hurricanes escaped with a 4-3 win at PNC Arena.
The last time Carolina paid a visit to Nashville was January 7th, 2012, and the Predators notched four power-play goals on their way to a 5-2 win. Patric Hornqvist had two power-play goals while Shea Weber, Craig Smith and Ryan Ellis all scored for the Predators.
Nashville, TN - The banged up Nashville Predators put up a great effort tonight against the visiting Vancouver Canucks, but in the end, the Canucks were able to overwhelm Nashville, 3-1.
Ryan Kesler scored twice for Vancouver in the third period, and Roberto Luongo was solid in goal, stopping 30 shots on the night, and the Canucks have now won three games on their current four game road trip.
Nashville Predators vs. Vancouver Canucks

Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators and Vancouver Canucks meet on Tuesday night for their only meeting at Bridgestone Arena in 2013-14; the Preds will travel to Vancouver on January 3rd and March 19th, 2014. Vancouver won all three meetings in the shortened 2012-13 season. Nashville has posted an 11-12-6 all-time record against the Canucks on home ice.
In the last meeting on April 15th, Vancouver jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first 20 minutes, before the Predators responded with two goals in the first 11:40 of the second period. The Canucks would go on to score three unanswered goals to defeat the Predators 5-2 at Bridgestone Arena.
Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators had the Philadelphia Flyers down 2-1 late in the third period, but Sean Couturier tide it at 13:07, and Vincent Lecavalier scored the only shootout goal, and the Flyers get the extra point in the 3-2 victory.
Philadelphia scored first when Claude Giroux scored at 16:49, taking a loose puck after a blocked shot, and scoring his fourth goal of the season,giving the Flyers a 1-0 lead.
Nashville Predators vs. New York Rangers

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators are on a hot streak right now, and they hope to continue their strong play when the New York Rangers visit the Music City on Saturday night.
The Predators are coming off a 4-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs Thursday night at Air Canada Centre, and with that, posted it’s first three-game winning streak this season. Nashville is looking to defeat the fourth Original Six team in as many games when the “Blueshirts” visit “Smashville.”
Nashville, TN - The Predators make the second of three trips to the Central Division’s northern-most city on Friday night. The Predators have earned at least a point in 10 of 11 games against the team formerly known as the Thrashers since 2005-06, going 8-1-2 in that span. Overall, Nashville is 4-2-3 on the road against the Thrashers/Jets.
These two teams met in Winnipeg on Oct. 20th, in the Predators first-ever regular-season trip to Winnipeg. The Predators got goals from Eric Nystrom, Patric Hornqvist and Matt Cullen, while Carter Hutton recorded his first career win, turning aside 38-of-39 shots, to defeat the Jets, 3-1.

Viktor Stalberg opened the scoring for Nashville with a wrist shot at 13:12 of the first period, on an assist from Colin Wilson and Mattias Ekholm.
Colorado tied the game at 15:23 when PA Parenteau slipped a wrister past Carter Hutton, on an assist from Matt Douchene.

Overall, Nashville is 6-2-0 against the Jets/Thrashers on home ice since the 1999-00 season, and have won three straight at Bridgestone Arena dating back to Jan. 30th, 2010.

Nashville, TN - Sunday, the Predators visit the Winnipeg Jets for the first time since the franchise relocated from Atlanta (December 6th, 2010), where it resided from 1999-2011. The Predators have earned at least a point in eight of nine games against the team formerly known as the Thrashers since 2005-06, going 6-1-2 in that span. Overall, Nashville is 3-2-3 on the road against the Thrashers/Jets.
In their last meeting at Bridgestone Arena on March 24th, 2012, Pekka Rinne made 24 saves and Matt Halischuk – now with the Jets – Gabriel Bourque and Shea Weber all scored to lead the Predators to a 3-1 victory over the Jets.
Nashville, TN – Nashville and Los Angeles begin their three-game 2013-14 series Thursday night at Bridgestone Arena. Nashville won two-of-three a season ago, and have won 11-of-19 games against the Kings since the beginning of the 2008-09 season (11-8-0).
The Kings are the only Western Conference team that the Predators have a winning record against on the road (14-11-3), but a losing record against at home (10-14-3).
