Nashville Predators at the Dallas Stars Tonight

Nashville, TN – The Predators make their final trip of the 2011-12 season to the Lone Star State tonight to take on the Stars at American Airlines Center. The Predators are 4-7-0 in Dallas’ barn since 2006-07 and are 6-18-1 in Dallas all-time.
These teams last met in Nashville on January 5th, with the Preds and Stars trading goals early in the first, as Gabriel Bourque potted his first NHL goal at the 8:31 mark. Dallas went on to score three unanswered goals to take home the 4-1 victory in the Music City. «Read the rest of this article»
Nashville Predators make trade to strengthen defense
Also acquire a conditional fifth-round pick in the 2013 Draft; Send 2012 second rounder, Geoffrion and Slaney to the Canadiens
Nashville, TN – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has acquired veteran defenseman Hal Gill and a conditional fifth-round pick in the 2013 Entry Draft from Montreal in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2012 Entry Draft and forwards Blake Geoffrion and Robert Slaney.
