Nashville, TN - The Predatorss and Jets face-off Thursday night for the first of two meetings in the Music City this season. The Predators have earned at least a point in nine of 10 games against the team formerly known as the Thrashers since 2005-06, going 7-1-2 in that span. Overall, Nashville is 6-2-0 against the Jets/Thrashers on home ice since the 1999-00 season, and have won three straight at Bridgestone Arena dating back to Jan. 30th, 2010.

The Predators are 7-1-2 against Minnesota dating back to December 31st, 2010, and have won three of the last five meetings between the two teams.
Nashville is coming off a 3-1 win at Winnipeg on Sunday night, completing a 2-0 sweep of the weekend with their win at Montreal on Saturday.

The Predators have earned at least a point in eight of nine games against the team formerly known as the Thrashers since 2005-06, going 6-1-2 in that span. Overall, Nashville is 3-2-3 on the road against the Thrashers/Jets.
In their last meeting at Bridgestone Arena on March 24th, 2012, Pekka Rinne made 24 saves and Matt Halischuk – now with the Jets – Gabriel Bourque and Shea Weber all scored to lead the Predators to a 3-1 victory over the Jets.
Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators managed to gain a point, but the lost the game 2-1 n a shoot-out against the L.A. Kings tonight at the Bridgestone Arena. Anze Kopitar went top shelf on Predators goalie Pekka Rinne to send the Nashville faithful to the exits, after not settling the scored in overtime.
Nashville elected to go first in the shoot-out and Barry Trotz would send out Craig Smith, Filip Forsberg and Matt Cullen to try and get a point for the Predators. They were all stuffed by Jonathan Quick, the Kings goalie. So it came down to Kopitar, who was able to end the game with his goal.
Nashville, TN – Nashville and Los Angeles begin their three-game 2013-14 series Thursday night at Bridgestone Arena. Nashville won two-of-three a season ago, and have won 11-of-19 games against the Kings since the beginning of the 2008-09 season (11-8-0).
The Kings are the only Western Conference team that the Predators have a winning record against on the road (14-11-3), but a losing record against at home (10-14-3).

Nashville Predators vs. Minnesota Wild

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators and the Minnesota Wild last met at Bridgestone Arena on March 9th, 2013, in their final matchup of the 2012-13 campaign. Zach Parise opened the scoring for the Wild with a power-play goal nine minutes into the middle frame, before David Legwand tallied a power-play goal to even the score at the 6:28 mark of the third.
The score remained tied through regulation and overtime, before current Predator Matt Cullen beat Pekka Rinne in the post-overtime tiebreaker to take home the 2-1 win. Dating back to December 31st, 2010, the Predators are 7-1-2 against the Wild, and have won five of the last six on home ice against Minnesota dating back to March 18th, 2010.

Nashville, TN – In the Preds’ last trip to the Pepsi Center on March 30th, 2013, goaltenders Pekka Rinne and Semyon Varlamov stole the show, stopping a combined 57-of-58 shots over nearly 61 minutes of play. The Preds would fall 1-0 in overtime, but earn at least a point for the fifth time in their last six trips to Denver (4-1-1 record).
Dating back to November 25th, 2009, the Predators are 5-2-1 at the Pepsi Center, outscoring the Avalanche 28-17. All time, Nashville is 12-12-4 in the Mile High City.
Nashville, TN - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has assigned forward Simon Moser to Milwaukee (AHL), finalizing the team’s roster for the 2013-14 season opener at St. Louis on Thursday night.

Forward Viktor Stalberg was also placed on injured reserve, leaving Nashville’s active roster at 23 players.
