Nashville Predators visit Vancouver Canucks

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators are fresh off their 4-0 shut-out of the Dallas Stars as they enter game two of their five game road trip, with a visit to the Vancouver Canucks. Face-off is at 9:00pm CT at Rogers Arena.
The Predators improved to 10-1-4 when scoring more than one goal and 5-0-0 in Tuesday games. Nick Spaling opened the scoring for Nashville with his fourth goal of the season . The Predators improved to 18-1-1 all time when he scores. Gabriel Bourque tied for the team lead with his seventh goal of the season, equaling his 43-game goals total from 2011-12.

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators welcomed back on old friend tonight in the name of Ryan Suiter and his Minnesota Wild Hockey team, but the fans at Bridgestone Arena were not in a welcoming mood.
Suiter, who left Nashville to take a $100 million contract offer from the Wild, was greeted soundly with boos from the Smashville crowd all throughout the night.

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators host the Minnesota Wild for the lone time in 2012-13 on Saturday at Bridgestone Arena, the last of three games between the clubs this season.
Nashville has claimed three of a possible four points in the series to this point, posting a 3-1 win on January 22nd, while falling in overtime by a 2-1 score on February 9th. Dating back to December 31st, 2010, the Predators are 7-1-1 against the Wild, and have won five straight on home ice against Minnesota dating back to March 18th, 2010.

The two teams wrap up their three-game 2012-13 regular season series at the Staples Center with the Predators in search of a season sweep after earning a 2-1 shootout victory on January 31st in Southern California and a 3-0 win at Bridgestone Arena on February 7th. The Kings are the only Western Conference team that the Predators have a winning record against on the road (14-10-3), but a losing record against at home (10-14-3).

Nashville Predators continue to struggle in 2-1 loss to San Jose Sharks

San Jose, CA – The Nashville Predators get out shot 39-19 in 2-1 loss to the San Jose Sharks Saturday night at the HP Pavilion. San Jose, who had been struggling with power-plays of late, scored both goals with the man advantage. This was the Sharks first win over the Predators this season.
The Predators have now lost two in a row having lost Wednesday night to the Anaheim Ducks 5-1. Nashville ranks last in goals with just 2.05 per game.

Nashville Predators lose to Anaheim Ducks 5-1 Wednesday night

Anaheim, CA – The Anaheim Ducks came out fast scoring two goals Wednesday night before the Nashville Predators got off their first shot. The Ducks went on to beat the Predators 5-1 at the Honda Center.
It was Anaheim’s seventh straight win at home.
