Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports a Springfield man has been charged with attempted criminal homicide and theft of property in connection to a carjacking that occurred on July 16th, 2018 on Zinc Plant Road.

The victim of that carjacking observed Jonathan Trent Rippie, 20, walking on the side of the road and provided him a ride. When the victim stopped at friend’s house and exited the vehicle, Rippie moved to the driver’s seat.

The victim attempted to stop Rippie from stealing vehicle. Rippie used the vehicle to strike the victim a total of three times ultimately driving over him.

Jonathan Trent Rippie has been charged with attempted criminal homicide and theft of property.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office search for stolen vehicle used in Hit and Run

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a stolen vehicle used to hit a pedestrian and for any information related to the crime.

On July 16th, 2018 at approximately 10:48pm deputies responded to a wreck with injuries call on Zinc Plant Road.

Upon arrival deputies found a white male in his early 40’s sitting on the side of the road. Before losing consciousness he was able to tell the deputies he was struck by a vehicle.

Clarksville Police are trying to identify Self Storage Burglary Suspect

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department is currently investigating a Burglary at a Self Storage Facility at 120 Dunbar Cave Road. On July 11th, 2018 between 2:10am and 4:10am an unknown White / Male entered the facility and broke into some storage units.

If anyone recognizes the suspect in these photos and video they are asked to contact the investigating Detective Detective Keenan Carlton, District 3 Criminal Investigations.

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for a burglary at Wall Brothers Glass.

The burglary occurred on the morning of June 25th, 2018 between 3:45am and 5:30am. The suspect(s) broke into the business located at 4980 Hwy 41A through a gate on the right side of building.

Once inside the gate they set fire to a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Timothy Belew with Warrants, Person of Interest in Thefts

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a Clarksville man with warrants on file and is a person of interest in numerous thefts throughout the county.

Timothy Belew, 33, has warrants on file for evading arrest, theft of a motor vehicle, and violation of probation.

Belew evaded arrest on March 30th, 2018, when police spotted him in a stolen vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. Belew drove the vehicle into oncoming traffic nearly hitting several motorists to avoid arrest.

Timothy Belew is wanted by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for numerous warrants and is a person of interest in several thefts in Montgomery County.

Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)Nashville, TN – The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in conjunction with the Metro Nashville Police Department and the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), the trade association for the firearms industry, are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction for those responsible for the theft of firearms from Music City Pawn, a federal firearm licensee (FFL).

On June 26th, 2018, Music City Pawn, 2638 Nolensville Pike, Nashville, was robbed by three armed individuals wearing masks and gloves.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigating Materials being stolen from Construction Sites

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office  is investigating two reports of copper and materials being stolen from construction sites. The thefts occurred on Bend Road and Chapel Hill Road.

Criminals target build sites with unsecured construction materials and equipment. MCSO encourages contractors to secure as much property as possible on build sites, request extra patrol in an area if needed, and report any suspicious activity or vehicles.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has two in custody for Farmington Subdivision Shooting

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office reports that Auctaveon Steele, 20, and Kenneth Hill, 20, have been taken into custody for their involvement in a shooting that occurred in the Farmington Subdivision on the evening of Monday, March 5th, 2018.

Hill has been charged with attempted criminal homicide. His bond is $500,000.

Steele has been charged with criminal responsibility/facilitation of a felony. His bond is $250,000.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigates Shooting in Farmington Subdivision

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that occurred in the Farmington Subdivision on the evening of Monday, March 5th, 2018.

Units were dispatched to 2500 block of Browning Way at approximately 7:40pm. Upon arrival deputies and investigators discovered a vehicle had crashed into a residence and the driver suffering from a gunshot wound.

The driver was transported by ambulance to a Nashville hospital.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office issues warrant for Ashley Canty for Sex Offender Registry Violations

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Sex Offender Registration Unit executed a search warrant on Monday, February 26th, 2018 at a home in the Poplar Hills subdivision.

Based on evidence discovered at 3317 Marrast Drive, investigators have issued an arrest warrant for Ashley Canty, 32, for violations of the sex offender registry. Additional charges may also be filed upon completion of the investigation.

Ashley Canty is wanted for Sex Offender Registry Violations.
