Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report Carl Whiteside was booked into the Montgomery County Jail yesterday for the Homicide of Patrice Smith. The incident occurred at 26a Lincoln Homes on April 7th, 2013.
Mr. Whiteside, was original fighting extradition in California where he turned himself in, but agreed to return before the Governor made a request to have him returned to the California Governor. The case is now in the hands of the District Attorney’s Office.

Clarksville Police charge Lee DeWayne Watts in the Death of his Mother, Ethel Adamson

Clarksville, TN – On April 7th, around 9:15am, Clarksville Police were called to 722 Central Avenue, Apt #1, and found Ethel Adamson alive, but unconscious, inside the residence and that she had sustained a wound to the head.
She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center by Lifeflight where she died, April 9th, 2013, around 3:28pm.

Clarksville Police release new photo of Wanted Homicide Suspect Carl Allen Whiteside Jr.

 Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police have released an updated photo of Carl Allen Whiteside Jr. Whiteside has a Criminal Homicide warrant on file for the overnight shooting death of Patrice Smith also known as “Apples” on Lincoln Drive.
He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Clarksville Police, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies efforts lead to capture of TBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted, Danyon Dowlen

Clarksville, TN – A joint effort between the Clarksville Police Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S Marshals has lead to the apprehension of one of TBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted, Danyon Lydell Dowlen.
On Monday, Clarksville Police Officer, Ryan Steinlage received a citizen tip about Dowlen possibly being in the Evansville, Indiana area and passed the information onto the lead investigator, Detective Demone Chestnut.

Clarksville Police add Criminal Homicide Warrant to TBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted Danyon Dowlen

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Detective Demone Chestnut has secured a Criminal Homicide warrant on Danyon Dowlen in conjunction with the shooting death of Charles Sims.
An eyewitness who was present before, during, and after the gunfight advised there was an exchange of gunfire between Dowlen and Sims. As a result of the confrontation, Charles Sims was fatally shot by Dowlen.

Clarksville Police arrest Man for Shooting his 15 Year Old Brother in the Head

Clarksville, TN – On November, 21st around 5:08am, Clarksville Police were called to 1594 Vista Lane, apartment #3 in reference to a 15 year old male who had been shot in the head.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the 15 year old inside of the residence with a gunshot wound to the head. The 15 year old was conscious and breathing and was taken by Lifeflight to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Clarksville Police extradite Homicide Suspect from North Carolina

Clarksville, TN – On March 3rd, 2012, Clarksville Police officers responded to a shots fired call at Building 6, 1523 Nolen Road. When officers entered the apartment they found Shardae Wright deceased in the bathtub from gunshot wounds. The suspect in the shooting, Nicholas Rico Durant fled the area and was later picked up by the North Carolina Highway Patrol around 10:00am.
On March 9th, 2012, around 2:45pm, Nicholas Rico Durant was extradited from North Carolina. He was booked into the Montgomery County Jail and charged with the death of Shardae Wright.

Clarksville Police find homicide victim after responding to shots fired call

Clarksville, TN – On March 3rd, 2012, a little after midnight, Clarksville Police officers responded to a shots fired call at Building 6, 1523 Nolen Road. When officers arrived, several shell casings were found outside of the apartment and multiple bullet holes were found in the door.
Officers entered the apartment and found a deceased female in the bathtub with gunshot wounds.

Clarksville Police have Three Men in Custody and have charged them in Conjunction with the Death of Brandon Davone Rushing

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department has been investigating the disappearance of Brandon Davone Rushing since he was reported missing on January 24th, 2012. At the time he was reported missing, he was last known to be driving a 2006 Chevy Suburban.
On February 15th, Detective Tim Finley uncovered that an individual known as “Blue”, later identified as Verchaunt Joshua Williams, shot and killed Brandon Rushing in a Clarksville apartment on January 23rd.

Man in Custody for Martin Street Homicide

Clarksville, TN – A man is in custody and charged with Criminal Homicide in conjunction with the death of Daniel Dion Bridges, 39, of Clarksville.
The investigation by Detective Tim Anderson, uncovered that on October 17th, 2011 a verbal argument took place between the suspect, Francisco Aguilar-Valencia, and the victim, Daniel Bridges, at 736 Martin Street; the reason for the argument has not been disclosed to Police.
