Chocolate AffairClarksville, TN – Whiskey Fudge, Brownies covered in Chocolate Chips, Chocolate Cherry Coke Float Cake, Banana Cake drizzled with Chocolate Ganache, Chocolate Donuts, and Double Dutch Chocolate Marshmallows were just some of the unique treats enjoyed by the sell out crowd that attended A Chocolate Affair at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center on Saturday night.

Chocolate lovers were able to enjoy a large selection of sweet and savory treats while listening to music provided by the Cumberland Winds Woodwind Quintent, a Solo Harpist, and a Jazz Combo.

Chocolate Affair at Wilma Rudolph Event Center February 9th

 

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – More than 25 businesses are teaming up to offer Clarksville’s first-ever Chocolate Affair, scheduled to take place from 6:00pm to 9:00pm Saturday, February 9th at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center.

This new event, presented by the City of Clarksville and Planters Bank, will feature sweet and savory treats from both local businesses as well as some National brands like Goo Goo Clusters, Lindt, and Dove. Clarksville-Montgomery Public Library to host Cumberland Winds Concert Series beginning October 13th

 

Clarksville-Montgomery County Public LibraryClarksville, TN – The Cumberland Winds will play three concerts in the form of three different types of musical groups at the Clarksville-Montgomery Public Library beginning Saturday, October 13th.

Downtown Clarksville Came to Life for the Seventh Annual Frolic on Franklin Street Arts Extravaganza

 

Clarksville, TN  – Frolic on FranklinThe community street fair featured 30 booths allowing local artists to showcase their talents and to sell their arts and hand-crafted items to the public. The booths featured a wide selection of photography, paintings and drawings, pottery, jewelry, glass items, and more.

The event also included a variety of entertainment and kids’ activities including the Kenwood High School Hi-Steppers, the Cumberland Winds Woodwind Quintet, the Northeast High School Exit One Show Choir, Red River Breeze, and the Loose Hinges. The evening closed out with the “9 to 5 The Musical” staring Bailey Hanks.

7th Annual ‘Frolic on Franklin’ Features Artistic Variety

 

Frolic on FranklinClarksville, TN –  Downtown Clarksville’s 7th Annual Frolic on Franklin: A Celebration of the Arts will take place Saturday, September 15th from 9:00am-4:00pm. The free event will showcase the works of 26 local and regional artists along the 100 block of historic Franklin Street.

A variety of original artwork and crafts will be on display including jewelry and beaded items, pottery, paintings, woodwork, ceramics, glass items, fabric items, photography, garden and seasonal items, and more. Items will be for sale with prices ranging from $2 – $2,000.
