Back to School Splash provides school supplies, fun

City of Clarksville - Clarksville, TNClarksville, TN – On Saturday, August 5th, 2017,  join Clarksville Parks and Recreation for a pool party from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the annual Back to School Splash.

Registered students will enjoy a fun time around the pool and will receive a backpack full of grade-appropriate school supplies. The Splash is open to incoming kindergarten through 12th grade students.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The fifth annual Wonder Kids Triathlon, hosted by the Clarksville Parks and Recreation Department for boys and girls ages 3-12, will be Saturday, August 5th, 2017 at New Providence Pool, 168 Cunningham Lane.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation announces Mayor’s Summer Night Lights to begin June 5th

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan is excited to invite young people in the Clarksville community to a summer program filled with free food and fun activities designed to help young people fight the summertime blues and boredom.

The fifth season of the Mayor’s Summer Night Lights program will kick off June 5th with 5-on-5 basketball tournaments and continue at various locations throughout the summer with DJs, athletic competitions, arts and crafts, local music performances and even a step show featuring fraternities and sororities from Austin Peay State University.

Clarksville Gas and Water Department - CGWClarksville, TN – Clarksville Gas and Water contractors are scheduled to start up sewer main line rehabilitation work in North Clarksville on Monday, May 8th, as part of Clarksville’s ongoing sewer rehabilitation program.

Work will begin on the following streets through Friday, May 12th, and unfinished work will be rescheduled to the following work week.

Clarksville Parks and Recreation’s Wettest Egg Hunt makes a Splash with the Community

 

Clarksville Parks and Recreation DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Parks and Recreation held their 5th annual Wettest Egg Hunts on Saturday, April 8th, 2017 at the New Providence pool, located at 166 Cunningham Lane.

There were inflatables for everyone to enjoy as well as face painting, egg dyeing and a not so typical egg hunt. The Easter Bunny also was seen hopping around.

Clarksville Parks and RecreationClarksville, TN – April is Adult Learn-to-Swim Awareness month and Clarksville Parks and Recreation is excited to offer four sessions of free swim lessons to any interested adult ages 18 years of age and older.
