Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators and Chicago Blackhawks drop the puck on a good old fashioned home-and-home series on Saturday afternoon with the back-half to come Sunday evening at the United Center.
These two games are the second and third against Chicago in a seven-day span, as Nashville wrapped up a two-game road trip in the Windy City on Monday.
Nashville, TN – Thelet one slip away tonight at Bridgestone Arena as the Columbus Blue Jackets picked up the pace in the third period to win 3-1.
Marian Gaborik made his debut with Columbus and scored the game winning goal and added an assist in the win.

Last time these teams met on March 23rd in Nashville, Taylor Beck scored his first career goal and added an assist to earn first star honors in a 5-2 victory at Bridgestone Arena.

David Legwand proved to be the man in the mix tonight as he scored the game winner, after both teams seemed to play an uninspired hockey game for the first two periods. Even the crowd was off their game tonight.

On Saturday in the teams’ second matinee game at Pepsi Center this season, goaltenders Pekka Rinne and Semyon Varlamov stole the show, stopping a combined 57-of-58 shots over nearly 61 minutes of play. The Predators would fall 1-0 in overtime, but earn at least a point for the fifth time in their last six trips to Denver (4-1-1 record).
Chicago, IL- Thetook the Chicago Blackhawks to a shoot-out before Michael Rozsival netted the winner past Nashville goalie Pekka Rinne to end the game and give Chicago the win.
Chicago scored first with 11 seconds left in the first period when Brandon Saad slapped a wrist shot past Rinne to end the period 1-o in favor of Chicago.

Chicago, IL- The Nashville Predators visit the Chicago Blackhawks for the first time in 2012-13 on April Fools’ Day; these teams play three times during the final month of the regular season – in Nashville on Saturday, then the next night in the Windy City, and finally on April 19th at the United Center.
A season ago, the Predators took five of a possible six points in games played in Chicago, posting a 2-0-1 record.

Nashville, TN - The Nashville Predators will look to put Thursday night’s home loss behind them as they travel for a Saturday matinee against the Colorado Avalanche, at 2:00pm CT at the Pepsi Center.
The two teams hook up for their second matinee game this season. The last time the Predators made the trip to Denver for a game it was Presidents Day. Two early goals were too much to overcome for the Predators, as Nashville fell for the first time in 10 games dating back to January 22nd, 2010.
Nashville,TN – Thewere down early as Phoenix unleashed 3 goals within the first four minutes of the game, causing Nashville to pull Pekka Rinne from goal to try to stop the bleeding.
Chris Mason came in and things didn’t get much better as he gave up three goals, and the tone of the night had been set.

Nashville, TN -The Nashville Predators host the Edmonton Oilers on Monday for the third and final game between the teams during the 2012-13 regular season.
Nashville won by a 6-0 score the last time the Oilers came to town on March 8th, while Edmonton prevailed at Rexall Place, 3-2, last Sunday, March 17th.
