Clarksville, TN – On May 7th, more than 150 cancer survivors, caregivers, volunteers, supporters and friends gathered at the Hilldale Baptist Church Family Life Center at the Relay For Life 2nd Annual Survivors Dinner.
Introduced and organized by Bill and Joan Farmer, this year’s dinner was the best attendance (at the Survivor lunch and luncheon events) to date.

Clarksville Police Department has Four New Officers Sworn in

Clarksville, TN- On Friday, March 1st, Clarksville Commissioner of Finance, Debbie Frazier, administered the oath of office to four new Clarksville Police Department Officers.
The new Police officers are Stephen Hurt, Nicholas Holley, Robert Pasionek, and Shelby Murray.
The new officers have begun their in-house training and will attend the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy class in Donelson, TN, March 17th – May 24th, 2013.

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Mayor Kim McMillan congratulates four individuals from the City of Clarksville’s Finance Department who have recently received certification as Certified Municipal Finance Officers from the Municipal Technical Advisory Service, a program of the University of Tennessee.

Five New Clarksville Police Officers Sworn-In

Clarksville, TN – Today, Clarksville’s Commissioner of Finance, Debbie Frazier, administered the oath of office to five new Clarksville Police Officers.
This is a significant milestone for the Clarksville Police Department. It is the first time in recent memory, the Clarksville Police Department has attained its authorized law enforcement personnel levels of 273 sworn officers.

Clarksville Director of Finance relocating to Texas

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville’s Director of Finance, Ben Griffin, has resigned his position for an opportunity in Texas.
“I have really enjoyed my time here in Clarksville. I have an opportunity to take the next step in my profession and to return home to Texas. It’s simply an opportunity I can’t pass up. I appreciate all the support I have received from my colleagues and Mayor McMillan.
