Former Houston Oilers DT Curley Culp Named a Finalist for Pro Football Hall of Fame

 

Pro Football Hall of FameCanton, OH – Defensive tackle Curley Culp and linebacker Dave Robinson were named today by the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Seniors Committee as finalists for election into the Hall of Fame with the Class of 2013.

Culp and Robinson will join 15 yet to be named modern-era candidates on the list of finalists from which the Class of 2013 will be selected. The Hall of Fame selection meeting will be held on February 2nd, 2013, the day before Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, LA. «Read the rest of this article»

Tennessee Titans add Center Chris Morris to roster

 

Tennessee TitansNashville, TN – The Tennessee Titans added NFL veteran center/guard Chris Morris to the roster today.

A veteran of five NFL seasons, Morris (6-4, 305) has played in 51 NFL games, including 11 starts. He played four seasons with the Oakland Raiders from 2006-09. In his final year with the Raiders he played in all 16 games and started 10 contests (4 at center, 6 at guard).

In 2010, he played in four games for the Carolina Panthers. Last season, he spent time in training camp with both the New England Patriots and the Detroit Lions, but did not appear in any regular season games.

Morris was originally drafted by the Raiders in the seventh round of the 2006 NFL Draft from Michigan State.

The September 9th home opener against the New England Patriots, the October 11th Thursday night game with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the November 4th game against the Chicago Bears have sold out.

Haynos (6-8, 270) has two years of NFL playing experience with the Miami Dolphins. He has played 23 career games and recorded 21 receptions, 184 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
