On Thursday, April 18th, 2019 around 6:30pm, Clarksville Police Officers were called to Winners Circle, 3430 Fort Campbell Boulevard, about an assault which already occurred.

But, the Clarksville Police Department and other law enforcement agencies still continue to battle other types of drug usage, even though opioids have taken center stage.

On January 21st, 2019 around 3:10pm, Clarksville Police Officers were called to a Heather Denise Court residence about a possible violation of an order of protection.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office captures fugitive Erastus Mummery

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Fugitive Erastus James Mummery, age 34, was apprehended by the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) on Saturday, November 24th, 2018.

Deputies received a tip he was located at a home in the 4500 block of Bartons Creek Road. Mummery was taken into custody after leading deputies on a short foot pursuit through a field behind the residence.

One deputy was injured during the foot pursuit. He was treated by Emergency Medical Services at the scene. No one else was injured during the pursuit.

Erastus James Mummery was arrested by Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies Saturday night on Bartons Creek Road.

Clarksville Police make Major Marijuana Drug Bust

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – A joint effort between officers and agents from the Clarksville Police Department and a Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office K9 officer resulted in the seizure of almost 100 pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana oil and $2,000 in cash.

Four men stopped in Clarksville for an overnight stay on their way to Florida, Thursday, September 27th, 2018 around 7:00pm, Clarksville Police Officers received a call from a business at the 600 block of Kennedy Lane about the odor of marijuana coming from one of the rooms.

Clarksville Police with the aid of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit make seizure of almost 100 pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and marijuana oil and $2,000 in cash.

He was caught after entering an unlocked black Cadillac in the parking lot of Walmart, 3050 Wilma Rudolph Boulevard.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office makes Burglary and Drug Arrest

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Investigators with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office have arrested six individuals in connection to a string of burglaries that occurred in the Woodlawn and Indian Mound areas.

The burglaries occurred between March 8th and March 15th, 2018 at two homes in the 4000 block of Cumberland City Road, a home in the 3000 block of Cooper Creek Road, and a home in the 3000 block of York Landing Road.

Items stolen include multiple firearms, military ballistic plates, nearly 2500 round of ammunition, electronics, and approximately $15,000 in jewelry.

Clarksville Police arrest Ryan Gerard for Pageant Lane Burglary

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – Clarksville Police report that tips from the public led to the arrest of a man who burglarized an office at 350 Pageant Lane

On February 20th, 2018, around 2:00am, an image of a man entering/leaving an office at 350 Pageant Lane carrying a box was caught on video surveillance cameras.

It was later reported, approximately $800.00 worth of power tools were taken from the office.

Eight Month Long Drug Investigation in Clarksville Results in Arrests and Seizures

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department reports that an eight month long investigation into the distribution of large quantities of illegal narcotics yielded numerous arrests and seizures this week, with more arrests and charges expected.

The investigation was a joint effort involving numerous agencies: Clarksville Police Department, 19th Judicial District Drug Task Force, Drug Enforcement Administration, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and Kentucky State Police.

Clarksville Police Officer Assaulted during Traffic Stop on Madison Street

 

Clarksville Police Department - CPDClarksville, TN – A mid-morning traffic stop resulted in a slightly injured police officer and an aggravated assault warrant in the Kroger’s Grocery parking lot at 1489 Madison Street.

District 2 Patrol Officer David McLaughlin stopped a black four-door Honda Accord at 11:08am because of outstanding arrest warrants. Eric Todd Jackson initially stopped for the officer, but refused to get out of his car.
