Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency to hold full Scale Training Exercise with Local Responders

 

Montgomery County TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency is partnering with Gateway Medical Center and numerous local agencies to host a full scale training exercise on the morning of Thursday, October 22nd.

The exercise will be conducted in the Dunlop Lane and International Boulevard area and carry over to hospital. The exercise will simulate a large scale hazmat release and will allow emergency responders to practice the processes and procedures necessary for a situation of this nature. «Read the rest of this article»

LEAP Announces 5K Run/Walk for Wellness and Scholarships

 

LEAP OrganizationClarksville, TN – The LEAP Organization will be conducting its 5K Run/Walk for Wellness and Scholarship fundraiser on Saturday, September 19th, 2015. This event will raise money for the 6th Annual 7 Points Scholarship Essay contest that is available to high school seniors enrolled in the Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) or Fort Campbell High Schools.

The race will start and finish near the Beachaven Winery located at 1100 Dunlap Lane. Registration starts at 8:30am and the race to begin at 9:30am rain or shine. The tax-deductive registration fee is $25.00 for adults, $10.00 for teens, and $5.00 for the kids 1 mile inflatable run.

Jazz on the Lawn hosts Toast to Youth Development benefit for LEAP

 

LEAP OrganizationClarksville, TN – On Sunday, August 16th Beachaven Winery concert series ‘Jazz on the Lawn’ will feature music by the Back Road Brigade sponsored by the Joe Padula Show on 1400 WJZM. The music starts at 1:00pm and goes until 4:00pm.

The theme for this event is Toasting to Youth Development with 10% of proceeds from wine sells being donated to the LEAP Organization.

LEAP is a 501c3 nonprofit youth development organization that instills positive moral growth and sustainable life skills in youth.

Beachaven Winery’s Jazz on the Lawn features Rick Stone’s Dance Band this Saturday, June 20th

 

Beachaven WineryClarksville, TN – On Saturday, June 20th, Beachaven Winery concert series ‘Jazz on the Lawn’ will feature music by Rick Stone’s Dance Band. The music starts at 6:30pm and goes until 9:30pm.
