3rd Annual Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial Road Race to be held August 13th, 2016

 

Montgomery County Sheriff's Office - MCSOClarksville, TN – Registration is going on now for the 3rd Annual Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial Road Race will be Saturday, August 13th 2016 at Beachaven Winery on Dunlop Lane in Clarksville, Tennessee. The 5K will start at 9:00pm and the 1 Mile Fun Run at 8:30pm.

The 5k is in memory of Deputy Bubba Johnson who died in the line of duty. Proceeds benefit the Deputy Bubba Johnson Scholarship for children of local law enforcement attending Austin Peay State University.

Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency to hold full Scale Training Exercise with Local Responders

 

Montgomery County TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – The Montgomery County Emergency Management Agency is partnering with Gateway Medical Center and numerous local agencies to host a full scale training exercise on the morning of Thursday, October 22nd.

The exercise will be conducted in the Dunlop Lane and International Boulevard area and carry over to hospital. LEAP Announces 5K Run/Walk for Wellness and Scholarships

 

LEAP OrganizationClarksville, TN – The LEAP Organization will be conducting its 5K Run/Walk for Wellness and Scholarship fundraiser on Saturday, September 19th, 2015. This event will raise money for the 6th Annual 7 Points Scholarship Essay contest that is available to high school seniors enrolled in the Clarksville Montgomery County School System (CMCSS) or Fort Campbell High Schools.

The race will start and finish near the Beachaven Winery located at 1100 Dunlap Lane. Registration starts at 8:30am and the race to begin at 9:30am rain or shine. The tax-deductive registration fee is $25.00 for adults, $10.00 for teens, and $5.00 for the kids 1 mile inflatable run.
