APSU to honor Legends of Governors Stadium November 16th

 

APSU - Austin Peay State University SportsClarksville, TN - As the final days count down for the current version of Governors Stadium, Austin Peay State University plans to honor the Legends of Governors Stadium when the Govs serve as host to Southeast Missouri, 1:00pm, next Saturday.

APSU Athletics and APSU Alumni Association are inviting all former football players to return to Governors Stadium for one final sendoff to the venerable structure that will be torn down after 67 years and replaced for the 2014 season.

The Rocky Horror Show tantalizes audiences at Clarksville’s Roxy Regional Theatre

The Roxy Regional Theatre takes you under the sea with Disney’s “The Little Mermaid Jr.” May 17th-June 1st

 

Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – Go “under the sea” this summer with the Roxy Regional School of the Arts in Disney’s “The Little Mermaid Jr.”, opening Friday, May 17th, at 6:00pm.

Based on the Hans Christian Andersen story and the Disney film, “The Little Mermaid Jr.” tells the story of the beautiful young mermaid Ariel (Ashley Knowles), who longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above.

But first, she’ll have to defy her father King Triton (Tristan Sartor), make a deal with the evil sea witch Ursula (Sidney McCarty), and convince Prince Eric (Truman Jepson) that she’s the girl with the enchanting voice.

“Always…Patsy Cline” at the Roxy Regional Theatre staring Jacque Clydesdale, February 8th – March 2nd

 

Roxy Regional TheatreClarksville, TN – The sultry sounds of one of the most acclaimed vocalists of the 20th century will fill the Roxy Regional Theatre, February 8th through March 2nd, in the perennial favorite and beloved musical “Always…Patsy Cline”.

Taking the stage in tribute to the country music legend who died tragically in a plane crash at the height of her career is Jacque Clydesdale. Although currently based out of New York, Jacque has strong ties to Music City, originally being from Brentwood, Tennessee, and having performed as a soloist with the LA Pops Orchestra in a tribute honoring Diane Warren, singing Shania Twain’s famous “From This Moment” duet with Grammy Award Winner Bryan White.
