Clarksville’s Kamiko Williams is ready for life in the WNBA with the New York Liberty

 

UT Lady VolsKnoxville, TN – Former Northeast High School and University of Tennessee guard Kamiko Williams, from Clarksville, TN,  celebrated and reflected on the end of one season Monday night and turned her focus toward a new one on Tuesday afternoon, as she met with the media at Pratt Pavilion.

After attending the Volscars, UT’s year-end Athletics Awards Banquet, Williams returned to her apartment Monday night to do some homework. That kind of commitment enabled her to graduate from college in only three years and begin work on a second degree.

Clarksville’s Bashaara Graves and Kamiko Williams prepare to lead UT Lady Vols in SEC Tournament Friday

 

UT Lady VolsDuluth, GA – The SEC Freshman of the Year, Clarksville’s own Bashaara Graves, is set to help her University of Tennessee Lady Vols win the SEC Tournament when they square off against the winner of the Arkansas-Florida game, Friday at noon ET.

Along with Kamiko Williams, from Clarksville’s Northeast High School, the SEC Champions are poised to make a run to the NCAA title.

Ohio Valley Conference Basketball Tournament Field Set

 

Ohio Valley ConferenceBrentwood, TN – The field for the men’s and women’s Ohio Valley Conference Basketball Tournament has been set.

The first round of the tournament will kick off Wednesday, March 6th at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium.

Clarksville’s Bashaara Graves and Kamiko Williams lead University of Tennessee Lady Vols to SEC Championship

 

Tennessee VolunteersKnoxville, TN – #8 Tennessee secured the outright regular-season SEC championship with an 82-72 victory over #13/15 Texas A&M on Thursday night before 12,213 at Thompson-Boling Arena. The Lady Vols claimed their 17th SEC regular-season crown overall.

Senior Kamiko Williams scored a career-high 18 points and classmate Taber Spani scored eight as the duo won their third SEC regular-season crown.

Austin Peay Governors Basketball to make ESPN appearance at Murray State February 2nd
