Clarksville, TN – On Monday, January 21st, a 2006 Mitsubishi Galant was traveling east on Purple Heart Highway when a 2000 Lincoln LS traveling north from Evans Road rolled through a STOP sign and was hit by the oncoming Galant.
The man taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center by Lifeflight was Kendall T. Ashby, age 28. He is now in stable condition.
 2000 Lincoln LS rolled through a stop sign and in front of the oncoming 2006 Mitsubishi Galant. The Galant hit the Lincoln behind the driver’s side rear tire area.

Clarksville, TN – On Monday, January 21st, around 8:20pm, a 2006 Mitsubishi Galant driven by 36 old woman was traveling east on Purple Heart Highway when a 2000 Lincoln LS, driven by a 19 year old male traveling north from Evans Road, rolled through a STOP sign into the path of the oncoming Galant.
The Galant crashed into the Lincoln behind the driver’s side rear tire area.

Clarksville Police Department is requesting assistance locating and identifying Suspect in a Kidnapping and Sexual Assault

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police are investigating an allegation of Kidnapping and Sexual assault which occurred on May 28th, 2012 and need the public’s assistance locating a vehicle and suspect.

Clarkville Police arrest 2 Adults and 2 Juveniles for damaging the Indoor Aquatic Center

Clarksville, TN – The Clarksville Indoor Aquatic Center, 166 Cunningham Lane was targeted and damaged twice over a two day period. Police took two separate reports in reference to vandalism and burglary to the Aquatic Center which took place between January 4th and 6th.
On January 4th/5th, it appears as though entry was not actually made inside of the center but the damage was done primarily to the exterior dome.

Tennessee State Representative Johnson announces road improvements slated for Montgomery County

Nashville, TN – Representative Curtis Johnson (R-Clarksville) today released information he received from the Tennessee Department of Transportation regarding an update on state road projects in Montgomery County. The report includes an update on Exit 11 on Interstate I-24 near Sango Road where the engineering is now underway.
“I am very pleased that we are moving on the Exit 11 / Sango Road Project on I-24,” said Representative Johnson. “This is important to many citizens in our area due to an increase in traffic and more accidents occurring at this intersection. Clarksville, TN - As of 11:00am, fewer than 500 customers are without power.
 CEMC Power crews in Clarksville assisting CDE with restoring power to city residents after the April 19th Storm
The Eastern Hills area has been restored. Addresses include; Audubon Woods, Cherokee Trail, Merritt Drive, Haynes Street.
Another important note: This morning, we received a call from a family on Evans Road who had medical equipment that requires power. We already had 6 crews in that area and were able to respond quickly.
We encourage any customers who have emergency needs to call us. Our crews are doing everything they can to restore power to everyone, but we do prioritize these types of situations, when at all possible.

Bored Man Needing a Cigarette Calls In a 911 Emergencies

Clarksville, TN – On the 28th of November, a 20 year old man, later identified as Alex Lee Baker, called 911 on three separate occasions to report bogus emergencies. The first 911 call came in about 7:13pm from an unidentified male saying that he was a witness to a murder at 1804 Evans Road and gave a description of male subject in a white car before disconnecting the call.
The second call at 7:26pm from an unidentified male stated he was pushed out a door, stabbed, and was in the woods near Shaw Road before disconnecting.
