Clarksville Police, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies efforts lead to capture of TBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted, Danyon Dowlen

Clarksville, TN – A joint effort between the Clarksville Police Department, Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S Marshals has lead to the apprehension of one of TBI’s Top 10 Most Wanted, Danyon Lydell Dowlen.
On Monday, Clarksville Police Officer, Ryan Steinlage received a citizen tip about Dowlen possibly being in the Evansville, Indiana area and passed the information onto the lead investigator, Detective Demone Chestnut.

Evansville, IN – Austin Peay State University women’s tennis team showed marked improvement at the Tri-State Athletic Club, Saturday, against Evansville. Although the Lady Govs fell to 0-3 on the season, the 5-2 loss was a step in the right direction for head coach Ross Brown’s squad.

Evansville, IN – Despite allowing a goal early in each half at Evansville, Wednesday night, Austin Peay State University’s women’s soccer team battled to the end against the Purple Aces, ultimately dropping the exhibition opener 2-1.

Clarksville, TN – Eleven home games dot the Austin Peay State University women’s soccer team’s impressive 19-game schedule released Monday by head coach Kelley Guth.
The Lady Govs will open the 2012 schedule with a three-game road trip, beginning with an August 8th exhibition contest at Evansville. Austin Peay will open the regular-season with road contests against Arkansas and UALR, August 17th and 19th, respectively.

Evansville, IN – Austin Peay’s Morgan Brewer threw eight shutout innings, while Catie Cozart drove in the game winning run in extra innings Wednesday afternoon, as the Lady Govs defeated the Lady Aces 1-0 in the opener before dropping the night cap 4-1.
