APSU SoftballClarksville, TN – After a couple of weeks of individual skill/position workouts, Austin Peay State University’s softball team will begin its first full team practices this Monday, September 17th, 2018 at Maynard Stadium/Cheryl Holt Field as the Governors prepare for their first season under the direction of new head coach Kassie Stanfill.

APSU Women's VolleyballHouston, TX – Off to its best start since 2010, Austin Peay State University’s volleyball team travels to Texas for its biggest test of the season when it competes in the Rice adidas Invitational, Friday-Saturday, in Houston.

The Governors will face Ole Miss, McNeese and host Rice in the three-match event.

Austin Peay (7-1) returns home amid a hot start to its 2018 season, winning the season’s first six matches and seven of their first eight.

APSU Women's VolleyballEvansville, IL – Austin Peay State University (APSU)’s volleyball team saw its season-opening win streak end but battled back to claim a split of its two matches at the Dunn Hospitality Invitational, Saturday, at Meeks Fieldhouse.

Austin Peay (7-1) battled back from a 2-1 in the day’s first match against Northern Kentucky, but fell in five sets (25-23, 20-25, 21-25, 25-19, 14-16). The Governors recovered in the second match, sweeping host Evansville (25-9, 25-19, 25-23).

APSU Women's Volleyball senior Ginny Gerig became the 20th Governors player to reach 1,000 career kills.

APSU Women's VolleyballEvansville, IN – Off to its best start since 1984, Austin Peay State University’s (APSU) volleyball team will look to match the program’s record start when it competes in the Dunn Hospitality Invitational hosted by Evansville, Saturday.

The Governors will face Northern Kentucky in a 10:00am contest before meeting host Evansville in a 3:00pm affair at Meeks Family Fieldhouse.

APSU Women’s Basketball releases 2018-29 Schedule

APSU Women's BasketballClarksville, TN – Early-season trips to Cincinnati and Vanderbilt highlight a competitive non-conference slate which also features six non-conference contests in the Dunn Center and 15 total home games for Austin Peay State University women’s basketball, head coach David Midlick announced Thursday.

That’s part of the 29-game regular-season slate scheduled to commence November 6th and hopefully leading to the Governors fifth consecutive Ohio Valley Conference Tournament appearance—or better still, a banner.

Instant Peay Play - APSU SportsClarksville, TN – While Austin Peay State University (APSU)’s volleyball team is off to one of it’s best starts in school history, the football team can now put all its focus on getting ready for Ohio Valley Conference play after it’s season-opener at nationally-ranked Georgia and building a resume for a post-season berth.

The APSU Governors volleyball team enters its third week of play sporting a perfect 6-0 record — the second-best start to the season in program history — trailing only the 1984 squad that opened the season winning their first eight matches, after going 3-0 at the Missouri-Kansas City Kangaroo Klassic and the Middle Tennessee Raider Bash.

APSU Women's VolleyballMurfreesboro, TN – Austin Peay State University (APSU)’s volleyball team ran its season-opening win streak to six games with a pair of victories, Saturday, at the Middle Tennessee Blue Raider Bash at Alumni Memorial Gym.

The Governors handed Stetson a three-set defeat (25-21, 25-22, 25-20) before bouncing Troy in four sets (25-19, 24-26, 25-17, 25-19) to win the tournament title.
