Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted impaired driving saturation patrols between August 24th – September 8th, 2012, partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

During this time, there were 348 vehicles stopped and 304 charges issued.

Clarksville Police report 88 Traffic Crashes Over the Labor Day Weekend

 

Report for August 31st- Sept 3rd

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – There were no shortages of traffic crashes over the Labor Day weekend which ran from August 31st thru September 3rd, 2012.

Clarksville Police investigated 88 crashes over the long weekend, 16 involved injuries, and four were alcohol related. Three of the alcohol related crashes occurred before 9:00pm on August 31st.

Clarksville Police Department Saturation Patrol Statistics from July 13th and 14th

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted impaired driving saturation patrols July 13th and 14th, 2012 which was partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office .

During this time, there were 112 vehicles stopped and 109 charges issued.

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted impaired driving saturation patrols July 6th and 7th, 2012 which was partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

Clarksville Police reports Crash on Cunningham Lane sends Two to Hospital

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On April 30th, 2012, around 11:15am, Markeisha Ezell, 22, was traveling south on Bevard Road crossing Cunningham Lane in a 2009 Dodge Charger.

She did not see a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant, driven by Catalina Lofton, 35, traveling east on Cunningham Lane and collided with the Mitsubishi in the intersection.

Clarksville Police Department Saturation Patrols in conjunction with Patrol made 20 DUI Arrests

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted saturation patrols which was partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

The saturation patrol special in conjunction with routine patrol operations took 20 DUI offenders off the streets between April 20th-23rd.

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – The Clarksville Police Department conducted saturation patrols April 13th and April 14th, 2012 which was partially funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.

Clarksville Police Department stepping up traffic enforcement

Traffic Special a Lead-In to a New Grant

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – In an effort to reduce accidents and crime that occur along the US 41A corridor, from Boot Hill to State Line Road, all units within the Clarksville Police Department joined forces for a special operation targeting traffic offenders on October 28th and November 2nd, 2:00pm-10:00pm.

The majority of the 30 plus officers were from on-duty resources throughout the department. The primary goals were to target traffic offenses most likely to cause accidents, conduct drug interdiction, and develop leads/suspects within the areas identified through crime and traffic statistics.

Vehicle Crashes into Patrol Car

 

Clarksville Police DepartmentClarksville, TN – On October 15th, 2011 around 12:46am, a Ford F-150, driven by Jace-Devon Mitchell Smith, 22, was making a left turn from northbound, North Second Street onto southbound Riverside Drive and failed to yield to a Ford Crown Victoria patrol car, driven by Lt Chad Koyama, 33, Clarksville Police Department, traveling south on North Second Street and crashed into the driver side of the patrol car.
