Clarksville, TN – Despite the program being without a head coach, Austin Peay State University signed 12 players, Wednesday, to National Letters of Intent on the first day of signing for 2013.
“I believe this is one of the finest recruiting classes we had since I have been here,” APSU interim coach Granville Eastman said. “We addressed needs and added some real quality depth to this program.”

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation captures Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitive wanted for Murder in Fairview

Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation captured the latest addition to the state’s Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive list over the weekend after multiple law enforcement agencies generated leads on his whereabouts and located him in a Fairview, Tennessee residence.
Gregorio Rosas Arenas, 35, was found hiding in a closet under a pile of clothes and bed sheets in an inner room of a house located at 1418 East Fairview Boulevard.

Clarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University’s football team has added depth to its wide receiver corps with the most recent announced signings.
In fact, all three signees also will add size and speed to an area that lost a trio (Adrian Mines, T.C. Jennings and Darryl Miller) of experienced senior receivers. They are 6-3, 190-pound Hunter Branch, of Fairview; Anthony Woodard, a 6-5, 190-pound receiver from Gallatin, and Darryl Clack, a 6-6, 210-pound wideout from Maplewood.
