Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN - The Nashville Predators didn’t disappoint their fans on Fan Appreciation Night at the Bridgestone Arena, as they closed out the home portion of their schedule with a 4-3 victory over the Calgary Flames.

Nashville snapped their eight game winless streak in the process.

Nashville Predators host Calgary Flames for final home game

 

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN - The Nashville Predators and Calgary Flames complete their three-game 2012-13 slate on Tuesday night at Bridgestone Arena, with both teams having won a home game to this point. The game starts at 7:00pm.

In their most recent meeting on March 21st in the Music City, the Predators overcame allowing two shorthanded goals in a period (the first) for the first time in franchise history to claim a 5-3 victory.

Mike Fisher notched his first multi-goal effort of the season on Thursday against the Flames, giving him five markers in his last five outings – tied with Devin Setoguchi for the most in the NHL since his hot streak began on March 14th.

Nashville Predators get needed win against Calgary Flames

 

Nashville PredatorsNashville, TN – The Nashville Predators returned to “Smashville” for a much needed victory tonight as the Predators defeated the Calgary Flames 5-3 at the Bridgestone Arena.

Mike Fisher scored two goals and Martin Erat, Nick Spaling and Brandon Yip had the other goals for the Predators. Pekka Rinne had 19 saves on the night.

Nashville Predators lose to Calgary Flames 6-3

 

Nashville PredatorsCalgary, Ontario – The Nashville Predators lost to the Calgary Flames tonight 6-3, after pulling Pekka Rinne from goal at about the 8 minute mark of the first period.

By that time, Calgary led Nashville 2-0. Chris Mason took over in goal for the rest of the game, but it didn’t make much difference as Calgary kept coming.

After Travis Betran’s long three pointer tied the game and the Govs defense denied Liberty at regulation’s end, the Governors year-long free-throw shooting woes caught up with them in overtime as Liberty held off APSU, 79-73, in the ESPN Ramada Worldwide BracketBusters contest at the Vines Center.
