Zach Parise opened the scoring for the Wild with a power-play goal nine minutes into the middle frame, before David Legwand tallied a power-play goal to even the score at the 6:28 mark of the third.
The score remained tied through regulation and overtime, before current Predator Matt Cullen beat Pekka Rinne in the post-overtime tiebreaker to take home the 2-1 win. Dating back to December 31st, 2010, the Predators are 7-1-2 against the Wild, and have won five of the last six on home ice against Minnesota dating back to March 18th, 2010.

The Predators team, comprised of signed and unsigned draft picks, free-agent signings and free-agent tryouts, will be coached by Milwaukee Admirals (AHL) Head Coach Dean Evason and assistant coach Stan Drulia. Among the 22 players scheduled to participate are first-round picks Seth Jones (fourth overall in 2013), Filip Forsberg (ninth overall in 2012), Austin Watson (18th overall in 2010).
Nashville Predators to start 2013 NHL Preseason with a Doubleheader against Florida Panthers on September 16th
Seven Game Slate includes home games vs. New York Islanders and Tampa Bay Lightning
Nashville, TN – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the Predators will open their seven-game 2013 preseason schedule with a doubleheader against the Florida Panthers at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL, on Monday, September 16th.
Nashville and Florida also played a doubleheader to start the 2011 preseason on September 19th, 2011.
Nashville, TN – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has acquired defenseman TJ Brennan from the Florida Panthers in exchange for forward Bobby Butler.
Brennan, 24 (4/3/89), split the 2012-13 season between the Buffalo and Florida organizations, posting 10 points (3g-7a) in 29 games with the Sabres and Panthers, and 35 points (14g-21a) in 36 games with Rochester (AHL).
Minnesota Wild vs. Nashville Predators

Nashville, TN – The Nashville Predators host the Minnesota Wild for the lone time in 2012-13 on Saturday at Bridgestone Arena, the last of three games between the clubs this season.
Nashville has claimed three of a possible four points in the series to this point, posting a 3-1 win on January 22nd, while falling in overtime by a 2-1 score on February 9th.
