Fort Campbell 2014 Eagle Challenge Fitness Tour “Love Your Heart” event February 22nd

 

Fort Campbell's Morale, Welfare and Recreation - MWRFort Campbell, KY – The 2014 Eagle Challenge Fitness Tour (ECFT) will kick off with “Love Your Heart” on February 22nd. The “Love Your Heart” event will include a health fair, 10K, 5K and Fun Run.

This event will take place at Freedom Fighters Physical Fitness Center with same day registration open from 7:30am to 8:30am. The health fair will be open from 8:00am to 3:00pm and there is no fee to attend the health fair.

Go Commando Runner Provides Awareness to Gun Violence

 

Go Commando Half Marathon and 5kClarksville, TN – Every day, law enforcement across the United States step out onto the streets in an effort to protect and serve. Their dedication extends across the communities they patrol and within their own community of officers.

This year, on October 19th, one of Montgomery County’s own will run in the Go Commando Half Marathon & 5k powered by CDE Lightband in honor of his fellow officers and to raise awareness about a very real threat to police officers everywhere.

Montgomery County Sheriff Investigator Jeff Morlock will run in Go Commando to raise Awareness to Gun Violence.

Fort Campbell Fitness Challenge kicks off with Health Fair, Fun Run/Walk

Patient Recognition Month

Blanchfield Army Hospital - Fort Campbell KYFort Campbell, KY – Blanchfield Army Community Hospital (BACH) dietician and local massage school students offered 54 patients and staff an opportunity to learn more about the valuable health benefits of activity, nutrition, sleep and relaxation February 8th during Patient Recognition Month as they participated in a Wellness class and received free 10-minute massages.

BACH Dietician Capt. Christina Deehl told patients to avoid “fad” diets and to be careful about taking supplements.
