Fort Campbell receives donation of over 37,000 packages of cookies from Girl Scouts

 

Girl Scouts of Middle TennesseeNashville, TN – Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee (GSMIDTN) donated 37,444 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to Fort Campbell soldiers through its Gift of Caring program on March 17th. This donation amount was a 20.37% increase from last year’s gift.

Through Gift of Caring, Girl Scouts are able to show their appreciation for men and women in uniform or support those in need by giving them Girl Scout Cookies.

Girl Scouts Donate Over 30,000 Packages of Cookies to Fort Campbell

 

Girl Scouts of Middle TennesseeNashville, TN – Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee (GSMIDTN) donated approximately 31,108 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies to Fort Campbell soldiers through its Gift of Caring program on April 1st. This donation amount was a 28.52% increase from last year’s gift.

Through Gift of Caring, Girl Scouts are able to show their appreciation for men and women in uniform or support those in need by giving them Girl Scout Cookies.

Montgomery County Girls Earn Highest Awards in Girl Scouting

 

Girl Scouts of Middle TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – This year, nine Girl Scouts from Montgomery County earned the highest awards in Girl Scouting. The girls were recognized at Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee’s Annual Salute to Outstanding Leadership Awards ceremony held on May 3rd at Lipscomb University’s Allen Arena.

Montgomery County Girls Earn Girl Scout Gold Award

 

Girl Scouts of Middle TennesseeMontgomery County, TN – The Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee congratulates Delaney Powell, Sydney Sabash and Natalie Wieber for earning the Girl Scout Gold Award – the highest achievement in Girl Scouting.

Delaney restructured Montgomery Central’s science lab, which included the development of an inventory system for cabinets and equipment. This has helped to improve efficiency for both teachers and students.

Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee Horse Named National Finalist for CHA School Horse of the Year

 

Girl Scouts of Middle TennesseeNashville, TN – Donut, one of Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee’s horses, was named one of three national finalists for the 2014 Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) School Horse of the Year on October 25th.

Although Donut has recently retired from Camp Sycamore Hills (located in Ashland City) he has left a lasting impression on the many Girl Scouts who interacted with him over his 10 years living at camp.
