Columbus, OH - An injury plagued, strike shortened season has come to an end for the Nashville Predators with a 3-1 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The Predators were first to score on a Shea Weber slap shot at 8:29 of the second period, but the third period belonged to Columbus, as they reeled off three goals, including an empty netter, to seal the deal.

Nashville Predators recall Bang and Henderson from Milwaukee

Nashville, TN - Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has recalled forwards Daniel Bång and Kevin Henderson from Milwaukee (AHL) under emergency conditions. Both players dressed for the Admirals in Game One of their Calder Cup Playoff series against Texas last night.

First Missionary Baptist Church will host “Puck Stops Here” Bully Legal Clinic September 15th

Clarksville, TN – On Saturday, September 15th, 2012 Disability Law & Advocacy Center of Tennessee (DLAC) will putting on a legal clinic to address bullying in schools, “The Puck Stops Here” at First Missionary Baptist Church. Open for all parents and students from 10:00 am to 2:00pm.
DLAC’s “The Puck Stops Here” is for families with children in schools who are concerned about bullying. The day will offer participants information and tools to identify, prevent, and intervene when bullying happens.

Nashville, TN – Nashville Predators President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the club has assigned defenseman Aaron Johnson to Milwaukee of the American Hockey League. The transaction leaves Nashville’s roster at 25 players – 16 forwards, seven defensemen and two goaltenders.
