APSU Women's Basketball - Austin Peay State UniversityCookeville, TN – Austin Peay State University women’s basketball team earned its first Ohio Valley Conference win in dramatic fashion, surviving an overtime thriller 87-84 on the road at Tennessee Tech, Thursday, in the Eblen Center.

The Governors led by seven with one minute remaining in regulation, helped by a clutch three-pointer by junior guard Bri Williams to extend the gap.

Tennessee Vols Basketball beats Tennessee Tech at home, 74-68

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TNRobert Hubbs III scored 25 points to lead the Vols (5-4) to a 74-68 win over in-state foe Tennessee Tech (4-8) Tuesday at Thompson-Boling Arena.

The win moves Tennessee’s all-time record to 23-1 against the Golden Eagles and extends their home win streak to four games.

Hubbs finished the day with 25 points, seven rebounds and went 5-of-5 from the free-throw line. Lamonte Turner added 16 points, going 5-9 from the field and dishing out four assists.

Tennessee Volunteers - UT VolsKnoxville, TN – Tennessee hosts in-state and I-40 foe Tennessee Tech on Tuesday night at Thompson-Boling Arena with tipoff set for 6:00pm CT on the SEC Network.

The Vols (4-4) are looking to bounce back from a narrow defeat at the hands of No. 7 North Carolina on Sunday night and grab their 14th consecutive home victory during the month of December.

Tennessee got a big showing from its leading scorer, Robert Hubbs III, in Chapel Hill. The senior scored 21 points on 9-of-11 shooting to boost his season average to 14.8 points per game. Hubbs is joined in double figures by redshirt freshman Lamonte Turner at 10.3 ppg.

APSU Men's Basketball - Austin Peay State UniversityClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s basketball team equaled its best start in the Dave Loos era after dispatching Spalding 82-63, Saturday, in the Dunn Center.

The victory moves Austin Peay to 4-2, equaling six-game marks set by the 2000-01, 2002-03 and 2008-09 under Loos’ direction.
