Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUCookeville, TN – A six-run sixth inning proved enough as Austin Peay State University’s baseball team downed Tennessee Tech, 9-4, Sunday afternoon, in Ohio Valley Conference action at Bush Stadium.

The Govs claimed their first road series victory, 2-1, of the 2016 campaign.

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUCookeville, TN – With back-to-back road wins in hand, Austin Peay State University’s baseball team will look to continue its recent road success in a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series against Tennessee Tech, Friday-Sunday, at Bush Stadium.

The series begins with a 6:00pm, Friday contest and continues with a 2:00pm, Saturday contest before concluding 1:00pm, Sunday.

APSU Men's GolfSevierville, TN – Coming off its best performance this season, Austin Peay State University men’s golf team hopes to build off that momentum when it plays in the Fourth Annual Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate, being held, Sunday-Tuesday, at the Sevierville Golf Club River Course.

This is Austin Peay’s first time to play in the event named after the late Tennessee Tech golf coach and former pro golfer.

APSU Basketball beats Tennessee Tech 92-72; Chris Horton dominates with 37 points, 21 rebounds

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUNashville, TN – Playing in his first Ohio Valley Conference tournament, senior center Chris Horton played like a man who wanted his college career to continue. Horton scored 37 points and grabbed 21 rebounds as No. 8 seed Austin Peay State University stunned No. 5 seed Tennessee Tech, 92-72, Wednesday night in first-round tourney action in Municipal Auditorium.

The Governors now will face No. 4 seed Tennessee State, 6:00pm, Thursday, in the tourney quarterfinal action, also in Municipal Auditorium.

Austin Peay State University Governors - APSUClarksville, TN – Austin Peay State University football team will bookend its 2016 schedule with a pair of FBS opponents, including an SEC foe for the third time in four seasons, as part of its 11-game schedule released by head coach Will Healy.

“It’s a very difficult schedule where we’ll be tested each and every week,” Healy said. “There are no cupcakes on this schedule. It will be good for us.”
