APSU FootballClarksville, TN – In the second of three contests in the Sgt. York Trophy series, the Austin Peay State University football team will head to Music City to square off with in-state rival Tennessee State 6:00pm, Saturday at Nissan Stadium in Nashville.

The Governors are looking to regain their recent momentum after suffering a 34-14 setback to No. 4 Jacksonville State a week ago.

Austin Peay State University’s defense hassled fourth-ranked Jacksonville State all night, Saturday, forcing multiple Gamecock turnovers, including a crucial one in the red zone late in the first half. But an upset was not to be for the Governors, who fell 34-14 at Fortera Stadium.

APSU Men's BasketballBrentwood, TN – Austin Peay State University men’s basketball contest against UT Martin, January 4th, 2018 is one of seven Ohio Valley Conference contests scheduled to air exclusively on CBS Sports Network this season.

This will be the second straight season the Governors’ home contest against the Skyhawks will be nationally-televised via CBS Sports.

APSU Men’s Golf finishes ninth at Hummingbird Intercollegiate

APSU Men's GolfSapphire, NC – Perhaps finishing round two before darkness set in Monday evening helped Austin Peay State University men’s golf after all.

As one of six squads without an early tee-time today, a rested Governors squad moved all the way up to ninth thanks a final-round 295 at the Hummingbird Intercollegiate, hosted by Western Carolina.

APSU Football appears in National Polls

APSU FootballClarksville, TN – For the first time in six years, the Austin Peay State University football team has garnered national attention by receiving votes in the two major FCS polls.

The FCS Coaches Poll, released around 11:00am, directed four votes towards the Governors marking the first time since October 3rd, 2011 that APSU has received votes of any kind in the national polls.

APSU Football’s Jaison Williams named adidas® OVC Co-Defensive Player of the Week

APSU FootballBrentwood, TNJaison Williams of the Austin Peay State University football team was tabbed as the adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week.

Williams was a monster in the trenches for the Govs recording a career-high 2.5 sacks in Austin Peay’s 7-0 shutout victory over No. 18 UT Martin on Saturday night.
