Clarksville, TN – On February 21st, 2012, around 10:15pm, Mihretab Ghebremedhin pulled onto the parking lot of 2477 Fort Campbell Boulevard in a 2005 Nissan Altima, attempting to cut through to another road.
He pulled behind a building, but there was no exit available. As he attempted to back out, he struck the Golden Thimble Tailor shop, causing major damage to the building while sustaining minor damage to his vehicle.
No citations were issued.

Clarksville Police Department promote Steve Hamilton and Greg Beebe to Sergeant

Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police Department agents Steve Hamilton and Greg Beebe achieved another milestone in their careers and were promoted to the rank of Sergeant in a ceremony held at Police Headquarters.
Family, friends, coworkers, and public officials were on hand to congratulate them. Sgt Steve Hamilton and Sgt Greg Beebe both worked and studied hard to pass the promotion exam. Sgt Hamilton has been with the Police Department since 1998 and Sgt Beebe was hired in 2002.

Clarksville Police receive a tip that leads to a seizure of around 70lbs of Marijunana

Clarksville, TN – On May 31st, 2012 around 3:30pm, Clarksville Police Department’s Special Operations Unit working in conjunction with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, Drug Enforcement Administration and Homeland Security Investigations received information that Ernesto Galindo Mata was in possession of a large quantity of marijuana.
A traffic stop was conducted on Mata’s 2003 Chevrolet Astro Van.
