Rivers and Spires Festival headliner for 2013 is Joe Dee Messina

Clarksville, TN – The Rivers and Spires Festival is pleased to announce that the Grammy nominated and CMA award-winning country musician Jo Dee Messina will be the featured headliner at the 2013 Festival. Messina will take the Public Square stage at 7:00pm as the main event on Saturday, April 20th, 2013. The concert is free and open to the public.
She will perform some of her biggest hits that made her a superstar and one of country music’s leading ladies. Songs such as “Heads Carolina, Tails California”, “Bye Bye”, “I’m Alright”, “Stand Beside Me” and “Bring On The Rain” will make up a concert you don’t want to miss.

Beachaven Winery’s Jazz on the Lawn featured the Jim Gibson Band
Clarksville, TN – Whenever Beachaven Vineyard and Winery holds one of their Jazz on the Lawn concerts you know you will have a good time. That was the case with Saturday’s Concert Featuring The Jim Gibson. People were clearly ready to enjoy the weekend by spending some quality time with family and friends.

“Salute to the Troops” Concert at Fort Campbell all about giving back to our soldiers
Soldiers give everything for our country, but seldom do we find any meaningful way to give something back to them. That was not the case with Friday and Saturday night’s Budweiser’s Salute to the Troops concert which was presented by Fort Campbell MWR. The two day event is part of the ongoing Week of the Eagles. The star-studded concert featured Carrie Underwood, Hank Williams Jr, Jake Owen, John Rich, Rodney Atkins, and SGT Rodney Watts, all giving something back to the troops.
The organizers were expecting approximately 30,000 people to attend the free concert Friday evening, over 75,000 showed up.
